The 1975 are due to release their third album (A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships) in November.
Another album that will be better than the shit the Arctic Monkeys peddled.
FEEL THE HYPE:

I see that song Give Yourself A Try everyday on MTV Rocks and it's shite. And video is shite and they look like 13 years old insecure teenagers. Don't know anything else about them but I must say that I didn't expect to see thread about them on this forum.

But he failed.

Hate them.
Especially hate that song which is basically the singer drooling over what sounds a bit like Bowie's fame and which came out soon after he died. One man's death eh?

I class them with 30 seconds to mars, as one of those bands who think they are a lot more "deep" and "intellectual" than they actually are.

If I'll ever go deaf I'll try to think of this song as much as possible, as a constant reminder of the things that can no longer hurt me. Fuck me, that was bad.

I think these guys get too much critique sometimes, I really like a good few of their songs. Some of the tunes off the first album I find to be very nostalgic ("Robbers", "Heart Out", "Me") and powerful in that sense. They remind me of my youth (even though the songs were released many years after my youth ended....).
Second album as good too, some great songs and masterful production, and of course "Love Me", which is a fantastically sarcastic tune with a great hook.
Their new tracks so far are a bit hit and miss, "Give Yourself a Try" and "TooTimeTooTime" are pretty sub-standard, but "Love It If We Made It" is fantastic.
These guys are easy to hate and I get why people are put off, but I like 'em anyway.

Heh. Not my genre, I guess. It's definitely an introspective album.

This is a tune, in all fairness. Wish the album was filled with more of these lush pops songs.

This mob are fucking garbage.
The lead singer boy has the most annoying voice I’ve ever heard.
The kind of band people who’ve never been to a gig listen to.
Pure pish.
Probably Jamie Oliver’s favourite band.

People can have their opinions but I think this album is fantastic. Every song a different genre, well produced, interesting, awesome. Best album I've heard this year.
I get why people are put off, and I must say I'd never see then live because the fan base is 99% nut job youths (which is a pity) but I do love this band
