For me it's like a mix of the Bring The Light video and the start of the shock of the lighting video.
I didn't like the font, for me it was a lazy choice of a font.
Not a good video, still a radio friendly song

It's a shame because this album at times does have a cinematic vibe, he could do so much more. I suppose someone that hates music videos would want it as simple as possible. This just feels like a spoof of something though.

I love the fact that Noel's new videos are actually shot in videotape and film formats for real, not just the shitty hipster plugin effects.

I don´t think that Noel was ever this irrelevant as he is now. With us fans and with wider audience also.

It was quite a fall from his debut with Chasing Yesterday. Critically not so well, although the fans seemed to like it, maybe even a bit more, the sales just weren't as strong and neither were the charts. I think this is why he really tried to reinvent his sound with this album, because he didn't want to continue to trend downwards but that hasn't seemed to work at all. Critically it seems to get better reception, but it's not sitting as well with the fans at large. I really don't understand this downward trend, because in my opinion, he's written some of his strongest material of his entire career in the last 8 years in comparison to post BHN.

Says a lot when he's playing live and championing a 3rd rate song like DITW.

I've totally fallen out of love with his music and his personality at this point but he's earned the right to do what he wants. He likes what he's doing and I think he's fairly clear that that's all he's really interested in at this stage of a long and successful career.
I like this song but it's too long. I welcome the possibility of getting a radio edit.

I'm not sure how to define relevant. Perhaps a musician is relevant if he can make a living by doing it, and he's not relevant if his children are starving. How DOES one define relevant?

His first album was the most radio friendly and it was his first solo album so it had a lot of buzz. I rate his solo albums as progressively getting better and all three are quite a lot better than Oasis's 00's output. I do wish I could hear Liam's voice on some songs but as albums, they are far superior.

I honestly cannot wait until this album and promotions run their course! Enjoy the album, loved his live show (Philadelphia), but that's about it. With everything else, I'm quite disappointed...
The singles/b-sides: As an Oasis completist, it has been tough bringing myself to order each new single. They don't offer much, from the lack of a b-side to the picture discs. The single run for his first two albums were great... colored 7" with 1 new studio recording, none of those instrumental and/or lazy remix versions. Cannot stand picture discs for quality reasons.
Not a fan of Noel's new attitude, it is a little off-putting. The sunglasses at all times, along with this tough-guy look is not him, hoping he ditches it.
Just hoping he's gotten these experimental urges out of his system in time for the next album. It was interesting, and nice to see & hear some new techniques/sounds worked into this album, but overall I miss the old him.

I don't buy singles unless they have a b-side. I couldn't believe it when Oasis used remixes on the DOYS singles.

For the first time since Lyla (not that long I know ) I am not buying a brand new Oasis/ Oasis related single as it comes out. Noel must have 100 songs sitting around that he could have used as b-sides?
He's a total hypocrite given his comments in the 90s about remixes as b-sides being a way to "rip off the fans".
The sheer cost of these singles is staggering, and then if you want all 3 versions (PD/Coloured/Black) you're looking at about £50 per release? I remember LTBL coming out and you got all formats (CD/7"/DVD) for £5!
Noel is majorly taking the piss with these singles. I wont be taken the piss out of just for the sake of continuing the collection. No new material, no sale.

Oasis, Beady Eye and NGHFB have released bad music videos but this is the only one I haven't even finished watching.

I have never been too much into music videos but the most recent bunch are poor in my opinion. Last great video i think he did was ballad mighty i love that and all of his first album. Liams wall of glass was good though, enjoyed that.
Wish I could get next Sat off to see him at Wembley Arena. Be the first time I won't be staring at the Gallaghers, that Jessica is super hot.

She Taught Me How to Fly is one of my all time favorite Gallagher songs and it is a song that seems could be remixed to make it even dancier. However this remixes is the worst Gallagher related track I have ever heard. It removes everything good about the song. It is absolutely terrible. It blows my mind how this can be so bad and the remix of The Mexican (one of my least favorite Gallagher tracks) can be so much better. Awful.
