Is there usually different thread for Record Store Day? Anyway... Just looking at RSD 2018 releases and noticed this: recordstoreday.co.uk/releases/rsd-2018/ocean-colour-scene/ The cheapest LP I could find on discogs (Europe seller) is over £90 so if this is reasonably priced I might add it in my collection  Other items that caught my eye: Pink Floyd debut 180g LP Spaceman 3 - "Taking drugs to make music to take drugs to" The Streets - B-sides & remixes Suede - Suede Tim Burgess - As I Was Now The Who - Kids are Alright LP Dunno where to find them, though. |

I was able to score The National’s Boxer live and Bowie Now. I was unable to get my hands on my #1 target, Arcade Fire’s debut EP. Bummed about that. Store opened at 9 am. I got there around 7:30 am. Probably 50+ people before me.
Noel’s RSD release not available in states.
I passed on the Led Zeppelin single (they had like 30 copies).
I also decided to pass on Satanic Majesties Request. It was $40. What a rip off.

Not a big fan of Courteeners and I'm one of them who thinks they're overrated.
However, I kinda like their debut album and the original vinyl prices are absolutely crazy so thinking of grabbing this release along with The Who's 'The Kids Are Alright' and OCS 'Marchin' Already'.

There was a Neil Young 2LP Live at the Roxy LA previously unreleased gig from the Tonight's the Night tour. I'd have got it but as many have said, its getting pretty pricey, and I've really not got as much room for more records - and naturally newly pressed heavy weight 2LP records take up more space. I'm also not going to have as much chance to listen to it if its on LP rather than CD or mp3. Had it been on CD I'd likely have gotten it.

Shiiiiiiiiit. When I said I nabbed one I actually meant Noel’s record store release. I got an email last night from Banquet saying like 100 were in stock and pounced. The National Live boxer I was lucky to find in the shops day of. Now all I need is that damn Arcade Fire EP. |

I want a "Alligator live" Maybe they should just start doing them all and release a different one every year 😎 I want to hear Crazy Matt going nuts at the end of "Afraid Of Everyone" and "England" 😀 and "Victoria" too. It wasn't hard to get Noel's RSD release this year (at least this side of the ocean). My local record shop got a few and my English friend managed to grab one of 15 copies in the biggest record shop in Amsterdam on the day of release. I always feel like a little girl on Christmas when I go to the record shops on RSD. |
