Not Noel-bashing but any time someone tells you Liam needed Noel more than Noel needed Liam, play them this version of Go Let It Out. This really has nothing to do with having Liam there or not. The problem is the mix and burying Noel’s vocals. When I saw it last month it was a concert highlight. A mix like that would have made Liam sound bad as well. As it would anyone. |

His vocal sounds even more altered than Liam's ones. There's something off about the whole thing. The band does sound good but all mixed together just sounds a bit weird.

I don't think Go Let It Out is that bad btw.
Could do without it being up 3 keys.
The band sounds pretty decent though and I like the backing vocals and mellotron.
Maybe it's Stockholm Syndrome though...

Yeeeshh Go Let It Out is terrible. If NG is going to do Oasis songs at least pick ones he can pull off singing. Hope he stays well clear of trying to do Lyla...

The band sound fantastic! The vocals are just...strange. Like they were obviously recorded separately and pasted on top, instead mixed into the music. But by the end of the song I got used to it and started to dig it. Gives the song a quirky, kind of retro sound. It's a keeper. Can't wait to hear this live

Regarding GLIO, the tempo is a lot higher than the original. The drum sample at the start is originally very groovy and slow.
It's an odd recording, everything just seems off.

That cover of Go Let It Out. The tune itself has always been one of my top all time favorite Oasis tracks. I don't think Noel & the birds do it justice though. His voice rather than Liam's and the band's playing, the umphh of the original is completely lost....... Just me  |

GLIO is fine, the vocals are just mixed too low (and it's probably a bit fast for Noel) but it's not as bad as people are making out.
