Heathen Chemistry as an album is a complete album that just works well with no proper dip.
Dig Out Your Soul as an album dies a death after the half way point.
Heathen Chemistry as an album is better.

As someone who was only old enough to see Oasis on the DOYS tour, i always anjoy reading the stories of fans who were around during the other periods of the band.
I think the reaction on here to HC is way over board and its almost as if the opinion is forced onto everyone.
Stop Crying Your Heart Out is easily one of the best and biggest songs they've made. The singles are all extremely strong and better than any singles bar the first 2 albums. Thats a big chunk of the album too.
SOTSOG killed any chance of Noel changing direction in sound for the band. The sales were poor because its overall the worst Oasis record. As much as i love the sound of it. So we got HC, that actually from the Finsbury Park video reaction seemed to be going down well with fans and hailed as a return to form. But like with all their albums post 95, when the dust settled critics seemed to ignore such things and go back to saying theyve not done anything good since Morning Glory.
