williampcorgan And now that we can discuss this, @jjjschroeder, @jamesihaofficial and I are going to a 3-guitar supershoegaze alignment for the tour. So expect crazy hyper-sonic recreations of the first 5 SP albums. Which I'm so psyched for, our ability to bring all that beautiful guitar work to life for the very first time #smashingpumpkins @smashingpumpkins #SP2018

I’m actually all in on this. Wish it was the complete lineup but Billy played all the bass on the albums anyway.

Has there been any word about a presale?

Has there been any word about a presale? No, there's a rumor that tickets will go on sale for every date at the same time. $129, $103, $73, $53, $33 ticket prices per Wells Fargo center in Philly

I'd pay top dollar just to see Billy perform Adore top to bottom. So underrated. Way ahead of its time really. Kinda feels like a Corgan solo record.

I'd pay top dollar just to see Jimmy Chamberlin play live. A smooth beast behind the drums.

Wow, I may actually have a chance to see them this summer. Will have to cross the border though, which can be a quite hassle, particularly if I'm not able to cross. Hmmm...It's worth a try, I love this band.
I'm really glad James Iha is involved. I love his 2 solo albums, and would definitely go see him if he did a solo show.

If they come to the UK I'll almost definitely pay to see them! Shame D'arcy isn't involved but this is the closest I'll ever get to being able to see the proper Pumpkins. I agree about Adore being underrated but my personal favourite is Siamese Dream, though for me their best track is still 1979.

Even that bogus Pumpkins lineup was playing arenas all of 2012-2013 across America and selling out most of them.

I wish Melissa Auf dear Maur was touring with them but very much doubtful as she seems to be out of the music business.

I have a feeling this will be a ticket I grab on StubHub a few days before. Last time they played a venue close to to this size they had discount tickets for months. Hearing Silverfuck live would be tremendous!

http://instagram.com/p/BfiugheDYDc williampcorganThe other day, I shared a set of ours from 1995. Which surprisingly engendered a lot of interest, and it got me thinking why not share our pool of PROPOSED songs (meaning the list we'll use to build The Shiny and Oh So Bright set, so these aren't in any particular order). And since we are a bit aways from going into rehearsals, and I'm sure we've missed a favorite or two, tag me @williampcorgan @jamesihaofficial @chamberdrums and @jjjschroeder as well as @smashingpumpkins or #smashingpumpkins and most importantly #SP2018 with a screen cap of what you'd like to hear. But remember, the goal is to build an epic set! So choose wisely

I can't find an official Smashing Pumpkins thread so I'll just leave this here. An intimate solo acoustic set on a hotel room from 1991:
