I see AYW kind of similar to DBTT as far as overall quality goes.
And I know Noel intentionally wanted DBTT to be stripped down, and it works well enough.
But that (unnecessary) explosion at the end of GGTIA is great, and hints at what AYW did well, crisp and clean.
Discuss.

Not at all. It was very nice to have an album without all the fucking vocals autotuned to death.
Even without the autotune I think all the Grech-Marguerat tracks sounded awful. It's a sound that's too typical. Greedy Soul is the perfect example. The "stripped down" acoustic feel is not for me man. The Kurstin tracks on the other hand (particularly Wall Of Glass and Come Back To Me) is how I think Liam's next album should sound.
But DBTT? Leave it alone, it sounds great.

DBTT has always been OVERRATED as an album. The production leaves a ton to be desired. I hardly listen to anything off it besides the singles and Turn Up The Sun. I get why people like it but its really a false reality of some big huge Oasis comeback.
