Question: was there a football match on today (Sat. Feb. 17) that Noel would have watched in the afternoon? I ask because he didn’t come out for signing in Boston until very late, at 6:05 pm from what I see on IG. Follow up question: is there a match he’d be watching on Tues. Feb. 20? Please help me out any footie fans  |

Please help me out any footie fans The Manchester United game was on at 17.30 UK time, so 12.30 East Coast. I don't think Noel would be overly bothered about watching City's rivals play - and win - though. And yes, as another poster has said, Chelsea v Barcelona is happening 19.45 UK time on Tuesday, so that'd be 14.45 in Montreal/Toronto? |

Typically between 3-4 pm is when he’ll arrive for soundcheck and sign. That being said, the other night in Boston it was 6:05 pm. Just came out of the Montreal show. It was great. A new song added to the set list. Won’t spoil the surprise.
He was back to his regular times for soundcheck. Met him going in at approx 3:45pm.

I can only hope Noel comes back to Canada again when I can afford to fly across the country to Toronto or JUST COME TO VANCOUVER!!!

Three quick Let The Lord Shine a Light thoughts having just heard the youtube clip:
1. The band do a phenomenal job with it, it sounds huge - more so than in '12.
2. I was hoping for a big guitar moment from Gem, but it was not to be.
3. The more I think about it, first song in the encore is the perfect place for something like that - the crowd will generally give anything a chance in that slot, so a song likely to be unfamiliar but played very well is ideal. If he's confident enough in Dead in the Water to move it somewhere where it needs to stand on it's own strength a little more, then this makes sense. I kind of hope they kept in the RTE chat before LTLSAL, that'd be funny.
