Oh how incredible it would be if he played HN and didn't ditch if after 2 gigs. I am skeptical. I think LBL is terrific live but it's definitely time to swap out WW for something else. HTWA too but less so. I also think it's time for acoustic CS to go. It was a nice feature of the CY tour so something new should take its place. BOTMI would fit great there. What a life it would be..

Lmaooo after months of "I've revolutionised happiness" "happiness is revolutionary" it'd be funny for him to play one of the darkest oasis songs. Also the fact that he'd be awful at it compared to Liam Could not disagree more with your final point. Noel does a great version of Gas Panic at this soundcheck from 2009. I think the fact that the song is so personal is why it lends itself so well to Noel's vocal. Yeah awful was a bit dramatic, what I mean is that I prefer the angst and aggression that Liam brings to the song. His performance of it on the first night of Wembley is one of my all time favourite vocals, so compared to that Noel sounds just average singing it.

SCYHO had access to the soundcheck and said we're in for a surprise... Since she said its one, pretty much matchs this setlist with Hey Now being the surprise.

Oh God I hope it's not real. Unless he does something interesting with Hey Now and Record Machine I'm going to have to go get a drink during those songs.
I was also hoping that they'd play Fort Knox live (he said in an interview they were working on it) but if it's not that's fine. But Hey Now and Record Machine... ugh...

Nothing real on this set mate. And yes, they are playing FK live It's been confirmed or you just remain skeptical? I posted a video of it in the thread Detroit. The strings are looped and then the band walks off and starts to play the rest of the song.

Swap Dream On and All You Need Is Love for Everybody's on the Run and Man Who Built the Moon and I couldn't be happier

One benefit of sorts we got as a result of the split was a focus on recent songs in live shows which we would never have otherwise had.
If Oasis had carried on, there’s no chance in 2018 that 15 out of 21 songs would be from the most recent 3 records - they’d have continued the 2005-2008 trend of 6 current songs, a surprise or two, and 10 from ‘94-96.
