Excited for the three songs from NGHFB2 and love the songs he chose from NGHFB3. Over NGHFB1 songs. Can’t stand Dream On and WAL is pretty grating. Then he picked the same HTWA, IOBI, WW
I’ll suffer through Dream On as long as Riverman and TBOTMI stay in. I’ll shit a brick for GLIO. NOLa, get ready cuz I’ll be belting that shit

I give Noel huge props for playing Fort Knox live. I always wanted Oasis to attempt Fucking In The Bushes live instead of walking out to it over the PA system for almost 10 years. Kinda lame. Bring on Radio City!!!

Ok, finally made it home through the snowy roads of Detroit. Here are my thoughts:
GOOD: - Noel was ON FIRE tonight! Tons of energy in his vocals, and moving a bit more than usual. Maybe it's his new funky album that's got him energized, or maybe it's just the high from starting a new tour, but it was the best demeanor I've seen from NG in 4 concerts - I was surprised by how well the new songs played live... I liked Fort Knox, Holy Mountain, and Keep on Reaching better live than in the album, but the highlight of the new material (for me) was Black & White Sunshine - Importance of Being Idle and Little by Little don't get much love on this board, but the crowd really took off when these two songs came on -- probably because they're the first two Oasis songs he played, but still... they were very fun if you were in that theatre tonight - GO LET IT OUT! Holy shit... never thought I'd heard either Gallagher sing it live again, and the funky arrangement with Noel on acoustic and Gem on electric worked really, really well -- crowd went bonkers for it! - DLBIA never fails to bring me close to tears -- just a beautiful song (even though I prefer it on electric guitars)... my friend who went with me, who's only a casual Oasis fan, mentioned how he liked that NG had the crowd sing the first chorus, but then he took over for the rest of the song -- not something I would've noticed having seen Noel do that several times, but he seemed to think it was very cool - Noel had a couple of nice moments with a 7-year old boy who was attending his first concert... first there was some banter between NG and the kid's parents (I assume?), then later he had the kid come on stage with him so he could give him an autograph - All You Need is Love was fun, colorful, and a nice way to close the concert -- it played very well live, and Noel was definitely into it... great singalong to end an awesome night
BAD: - Though the new album played better live than I expected, I did NOT like stretch with She Taught Me How To Fly and Be Careful What You Wish For... STMHTF felt like it dragged on forever, and the crowd just wasn't into it (and frankly, by the end, it didn't seem like Noel was either)... BCWYWF was better, but it was right after Taught Me How... and it wasn't exactly the song to pump the crowd back up - I like Wonderwall more than most on this board, but I just wish he'd play it closer to the original version -- it still got the American crowd excited, so it worked even with his arrangement - Riverman was a bit boring, to be honest
WEIRD: - What was all that chatter during the little break before the encore? It sounded like a recording of Noel talking shit about Liam ("pixelate his face from the picture!"... "the feud will last forever") but I couldn't make out all the words... anyone know what that was all about?

Setlist is a bit of a disappointment for me. I don’t mind Dream On but can’t stand Riverman, and Half the World Away should not be there anymore. Main disappointment is Man Who Built the Moon and If Love Is the Law not being there - the two best songs on the new album for me. Understand the difficulties with ILITL but for TMWBTM not to be in there is just bizarre, that was literally the one I was looking forward to the most from the new album and would never have imagined it wouldn’t feature. As for finishing the gig with Beatles covers? Sorry but I’m not having that.

"the feud will last forever") but I couldn't make out all the words... anyone know what that was all about? From the video I’ve seen of Dead in the Water it seems like the chatter beforehand is actually an extended chatter lifted straight from the radio session used for the released version of DITW. You hear the “have we got time?” and “this time with a bit more spirit” etc. and the random bits of strumming before Noel launches into it

Go Let It Out might be my favourite Oasis song. This is a great version. I hope he keeps it in. I'm not sure about the instrumental though.

Awesome! Go let it out and Fort Knox sound good.
Shame that he didn't do TMWBTM. It's the best song on the album! Well actually, it's a very Noel thing not to do the best song.
Also a shame that we get the same Oasis songs. Half the world away, Little by little, Wonderwall blegh. Also could do with other HFB songs than Riverman.

thought go let it out was shit... he sings the delivery of it wrong and on an acoustic guitar is just wrong, and gem was on the wrong guitar too. annoying as i lovee that song but i think it is one that must be liam only. wasnt that big on fort knox from what i saw. AYNIL good song but dont think he should play it. dream on should go. wheres everybody's on the run? what does charlotte and the other backing singer thats not jessica do when they arent playing WBTM tracks? seems a bit over kill to have them on tour?

Amazing that he played dead in the water, hope he keeps it for the uk tour.. Fort Knox also sounded great live, Noel singing go let it out just doesn't do it for me, I agree with the above poster in saying that it's very much a Liam song. Also no hey now Noel seemed in great spirits though which is good to see, makes for a great show when he is.

About the setlist, it's great he is playing FK live and so many songs of the new album, but a bit disappointed EOTR and TMWBTM are not there
The band is sounding great and Noel's voice seems to be on top form. DITW and GLIO both sound fantastic

Go Let It Fucking Out! Oh yes. Loving it.
The live version of Fort Knox kicks ass. Couldn't care less about Dream On or the Beatles cover though.

For me Liam's voice makes Go Let It Out, Noel singing that song just doesn't cut it even if the arrangement is great. Fort Knox is great live though!
