Why do both of the brother’s backing bands mess the solos up on both Little by Little and D’Yer Know What I Mean?

The solos on each song are arguably the zenith of both tunes.

And both guitarists decide to adapt their own playing style to the solos, to great detriment. Talk about absolutle watered down beige bullshit.

Tim had the blandest lead sound I've ever heard. I don't know if Noel asked him to sound like that.

Jay plays the DYKWIM solo and it sounds like shit because he's a fucking shit guitarist. Fortunately Mike does most lead work for Liam.

This is the main reason I'm happy that I'm seeing Noel with Gem in the lineup. He plays everything as they were recorded, but somehow better! Jay Mehler on the other hand, is fucking rubbish.
