In the DOYS tour, there was a gig where Noel let the crowd sing the entirety of DLBIA. Noel didn’t sing at all, he just left it up to the crowd.
I don’t think there is a pro-shot video of this - I wish there was though (if there is, please find it and post it in this thread!).
Otherwise, can someone find the best YouTube videos of this performance - it was on of those spine chillingly special moments.
Cheers.

River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires? I'm pretty sure it was a gig in England. Although I can't quite remember.

In Wembley (DOYS tour) on Saturday´s gig, he let the crowd sing "Don´t look back in anger" from start to finish. I was there and it was a very special moment. He normally let the crowd sing the chorus but that day was the entire song. It is the only time that i remember Noel doing this with DLBIA. I can´t remember it wit wonderwall
I have a video on my own with this....but it´s the worst video ever...shit quality

Wow, your weather may be shite and your towns may be crammed and it may cost a fortune, but I wish I lived in a country where that many people were passionate about Oasis

I’d do anything for a pro shot of this. Phenomenal.

“I have seen some big gigs recently, by some of the greatest rock stars of our time: Bruce Springsteen, U2, Blur. But I have never seen anything quite like a crowd of 50,000 in the pouring rain at Wembley Stadium, arms aloft, communally singing the whole of Don’t Look Back in Anger – with every lyric, every vocal nuance and perfect phrasing – accompanied by a mute, grinning Noel Gallagher on acoustic guitar. The sheer volume of what must count as the biggest choral performance in pop history was hair-raising, the spirit of togetherness heartening. The bond between Oasis and their audience is extraordinary. The last dates of their stadium tour, at the end of a year of arena shows, surely confirm them as Britain’s favourite band. And it is, in essence, a British experience: stripped back and utterly unpretentious, with a beery cheer allied to a macho refusal to appear to be making an effort. Oasis perform as if showmanship was beneath them.” -The Telegraph Full article here: www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/live-music-reviews/5816200/Oasis-at-Wembley-Stadium-review.html

I had the privilege of being at that Wembley gig. I may be misremembering but I don't think Noel intended to let the crowd sing until the first word of the first verse when he either was having sound problems or was so surprised by the noise of the crowd singing. He just stepped back from his mic and looked over at Gem as if to say "I might as well just let them sing the whole thing then..."
It was an incredible moment.
