Two classic dm tunes, which one do you prefer?
Supersonics got a lot more going on in the melody department but rnrs has that fierce attitude that defines oasis.

Really easy for me, Rock n Roll Star. Top 3 Oasis.

Two monstruous classics. Amazing sound, melodies, vocals. I choose Supersonic but the margin is short. Needless to say both are top 10 Oasis for me (RNRS might be 11 or 12 sometimes, but never lower).

Supersonic. That is no disrespect to Rock 'N' Roll Star, because that is a great song as well.

I would imagine that RNRS was somewhat programmatic for Oasis as a band but then again, Supersonic is as well because it was their first single and "I need to be myself, I can't be no one else" fit their attitude nicely. I'd go with Supersonic.

If Rock 'n' roll star didn't have the whole It's just rock 'n' roll part it might have had a chance against Supersonic for me, but it does have that part so...no contest really.

Both great songs but I'll go with Supersonic.
That intro riff...

I think RNRS (along with MG and CNS) needed a second verse so its Supersonic for me

The melody of Supersonic going into the chorus is phenomenal - this is really highlighted by Noel's acoustic version of Supersonic under NGHFB.
By the by, I love how Noel has several variations of so many songs - it really shows how Godlike he truly is!
Anyway, as the song heads into the chorus, the melody at 1.35.......WOW.

Supersonic is just more interesting than RNRS.
It's repeated verse doesn't help.

The melody of Supersonic going into the chorus is phenomenal. It really is. The amount of times I've repeated that part when listening to Supersonic is untold. One of the best moments in any Oasis song.

I'm a little surprised to see Supersonic in the lead by quite a bit. To me, its no contest - RNRS is nothing less than a complete and utter manifesto. Supersonic's a brilliant song but RNRS is more than a song, in my opinion.
