Sounds right. Here’s hoping for Supersonic, Whatever, Slide Away... Would love to hear Slide Away played again. Remember downloading a brilliant acoustic version on here from the Stop The Clocks promo tour that he did with Gem, pretty sure it was from a gig in Canada but I can't find it. His version of Slide Away is amazing... Really hoping to hear it in a piano version a la Supersonic after Dead In The Water

He might shake things up a little bit because that's what Liam's done.
The problem with Noel and his sets, be they Oasis or solo, is that he pulls out a surprise then keeps fucking playing it for years.

He's contracted to play 90 minutes. He's never going over that. And nor should he imo. Like Liam, I'm firmly of the opinion that 90 minutes is more than enough for a gig. Maybe, with Noel's being a bit more 'low key' than Liam's gigs, it'll push a bit over, but tbh 90 minutes and I'm happy. Much less would feel short changed, but pretty sure there'll be 20/21 songs. He's said they're working on a full band version of FK but isn't sure how if it's going to work. Other than that Noel has also said he thinks they'll play every other song off WBTM, bar maybe If Love Is The Law, which was proving difficult.

'Slide Away' has only ever been played once at the BBC Studio 2. I wonder if he'll ever play that again since Gem (who performed it once with HFBs) and Chris are in now? I am very confident he'll eventually incorporate this into the setlist whence the new tour begins.

I’m hoping for a break half way through where it is just Noel on his own doing the likes of Dead In the Water, Masterplan, Talk Tonight and Slide Away. I’m hoping that Half the World Away and It’s Good To Be Free are going to be removed from the set, I like both songs but they’ve ran their course and need to be taken out for a few years. I’m also in the minority on here but I absolutely hate Riverman so I’d like to see the end of that - but I know it will still be in the setlist. Alone On the Rope and Simple Game of Genius alongside the majority of the new album and I’d be well happy

Said that he wants to play the first half of the album all the way through, then mix it up in the back half of the set. They're working on FK but he's not sure if it'd work. The only other doubt was If Love Is The Law. All the rest he's planning on playing live.

I know people hate dlbia but it's a great way to closer a show It's one of the greatest singles of all time never mind the greatest Oasis track. Anyone who doesn't like this song has malfunctioning ears and deserves to have them hacked off. Or at the very least surgically removed humanely.

I've always preferred the album version over any live version I've heard and I've listened to way more Oasis bootlegs than is probably healthy. Obviously hearing the massive crowds belting out the chorus is great, and hearing the varying arrangements over the years is interesting, but I always felt they never quite nailed the essence of it live. No idea why, can't really explain it. But having said all that, it is an absolute must when you go see them/him.

Crazy world, isn't it! 😉 So yeah, hearing it live made me "get" it and it's impact. Still not toooo fond of the album version. Stay away from my ears with that knife! 😁

I'd love to hear them give one of the Oasis B-sides that were never a live fixture, like Carry Us All or The Fame, a whirl. It's not beyond Noel to drop a complete surprise like that, he was doing it a lot around the time of the first solo album playing the likes of Angel Child. Not sure why he stopped that after Chasing Yesterday, perhaps he felt he had enough solo material and it was just easier to trot out the well rehearsed familiar set time and again. I would be surprised if they didn't walk on accompanied by a recording of Fort Knox, like Oasis used to do with Fuckin' in the Bushes. Fort Knox feels better suited to that than as part of the set.

As stated by others above...PLEASE NO MORE HTWA or IGTBF.
I miss Mucky Fingers. I’d rather hear GetOffYourHighHorse or some other rarity, Let The Lord Shine A Light.
Looking forward to hearing the new stuff most. Hope they’d play Fort Knox live. He should bring one of the soul backup singers and leave the scissor lady home and play her French on tape.
Death of You and Me my fav off the first album, keep it alive!!!

Based on what I'd personally like, but trying to be realistic (i.e. Jess confirming on the Oasis podcast that she hasn't been asked to learn Cast No Shadow and Noel saying that he may play the first half of the album through as one, and that they've been struggling to get If Love Is The Law right, and Noel also saying he wants to play some more 'obscure' Oasis songs), then here's what I think would be a great set: 1. Fort Knox (hopefully 'live', but most likely as a walk-on) 2. Holy Mountain 3. Keep On Reaching 4. It's A Beautiful World 5. She Taught Me How To Fly 6. In The Heat Of The Moment 7. Riverman 8. Step Out (or Round Are Way - spruced up ala Whatever) 9. Little By Little 10. Be Careful What You Wish For 11. Black & White Sunshine 12. The Girl In The Dirty Shirt 13. If I Had A Gun... 14. Going Nowhere 15. Half The World Away 16. You Know We Can't Go Back (If Love Is The Law if they can get it right) 17. The Man Who Built The Moon 18. Champagne Supernova 19. She's Electric 20. Don't Look Back In Anger 21. AKA... What A Life!
