HM....not really fond of both tracks, but HM wins because its more joyous. And I can't stand the nanana's from ITHOTM. Live version sounded much better though, but I guess that also goes for HM

ITHOTM is pure class, and the only HFB track I'd give more than an 8(out of 10). Those verses are great, almost seductive in its sound, and followed by one of the best choruses that he's ever come up with. I couldn't care less about the "nanana's".

In the Heat of the Moment easily. The live version of Moment is great (even when Noel struggles with the chorus), Holy Mountain live is a mess at the end of the song.

Definitely Holy Mountain, even though I like ITHOTM. Holy Mountain just keeps getting better and better.

Yeah can't choose, both solid lead singles.

In The Heat of The Moment. The nananas are less annoying than Noel's monotone vocals on Holy Mountain.

I love the first verse of Heat of the Moment but the second verse is just such a throwaway, it really devalues the track.

LOVE EM BOTH. ITHOTM Is an underrated Noel tune, just an sneaky great melody. Holy Mountain is a storming blast.
Holy Mountain wins because it teeters on the brink of insanity (no way that 50 years old Noel should be attempting this kind of tune) but somehow manages to stay afloat.

Heat of the Moment is so tame in comparison - it's a decent if pretty bog standard tune from Noel. Holy Mountain is bonkers by comparison, so much more fun.

ITHOTM any day for me more because I think it's a fucking tune rather than me disliking HM.

Considering I listen to the version of ITHOTM without the nananananas and still think that HOly Mountain is a terrible song, pretty easy choice...

What about neither? I preferer Death of You and Me as a lead single.

In the Heat of the Moment.
By quite some distance.

I don't particularly like either, but I have learned to tolerate "In the heat of the moment". Guess until Noel brings out the annoying first single of album 4 it will be the same for "Holy Mountain".
