You can argue the fact the song is great or not, but you can´t deny it has been a success in terms of reach in his fan base.

I love For What It's Worth, it's such a massive anthem. The sing-along in Glasgow last week was mind-blowing. It's the antithesis of what a good song is. Clichéd, plodding and trying to rip off a 90s Oasis ballad. It's dreadful.

Anyway, there's no forum rules for hating on a song(also see my dislike for Dead In the Water) You're probably looking for my posts to confirm your bias that I only dislike Liam songs though. Seriously though, (to put it nicely) go away!

I don't get the hate these days for Robbie Williams, there are people in the music industry in 2017 who are far superior idiots (worst singers, misogynist lyrics, etc). Obvoiusly I'm not a fan, but I'd wish mainstream music these days was more like when he was mainstream.

"Would I like to perform it with him at the NME Awards? I would like to see his face when you ask him." He's not really saying he would like to work with Liam, is he? He said that in an other interview: www.nme.com/blogs/nme-blogs/1979643-1979643?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=socialIt would be amazing if you did something together…
It would, it would be fucking amazing! But I don’t think he’s got it together enough to allow himself to do that. He’s not gonna work with fucking Robbie Williams. It’s really unfortunate for me because I’d fucking love it. And it would shock the world for a day.
Isn't "work together" a generic expression to say he'd like to do anything with Liam, even just a performance? (Honest question since english is not my first language) All I can picture in my head is Bowie and Jagger dancing in the street

FWIW?! Understandable as the track is sub par Take That fodder. For What It's Worth is one of the best tracks of the last decade at least (my opinion).

It really is mind boggling to me that actual Oasis/LG fans (not the ones who latch on anytime there’s a “return to form”) like (let alone love) this song. The verses are nice, I’ll give you that but everything beyond them is ultra cliche and beige AF. That this song was initially compared favorably with Don’t Look Back In Anger is laughable. This is what you like to listen to? It really could easily be a boyband’s song. Not for me, mates.

I sit and wait Does a LIAM contemplate my fate And do they know The places where we go When we're grey and old 'Cause I have been told That salvation lets their wings unfold So when I'm lying in my bed Thoughts running through my head And I feel the love is dead I'm loving LIAM instead
And through it all LIAM offers me protection A lot of love and affection Whether I'm right or wrong And down the waterfall Wherever it may take me I know that LIAM won't break me When I come to call, HE won't forsake me I'm loving LIAM instead

I don't think so. Mind boggling? People enjoy tunes instantly without overthinking because maybe it sounds like stuff they've always appreciated. It's a bit cheesy but who cares? Yes it sounds a bit like Take That or Robbie Williams but who cares? The melody is stunning and gives me chills.

I don't think Liam is interested in sharing a stage with another singer.

Any halfway decent songwriter could write that. Just my opinion!

And just like most of BHN, it wouldn’t hold a candle to anything on the first two albums.

IMO I think it wouldn't receive the same amount of hate by the hardcore Oasis fans if it hadn't been so so so hyped prior to its release!

FWIW is exactly what I don't want Líam to do for the next album, I imagine soccer moms liking that, I just wanna fuck soccer moms, not listen to the music they listen to....
Would love for Líam to go the route of the BE song White Smoke, the remix, love that song....
Thanks.
