There's always the US Tour thread. Just showing some respect for my USA brothers and sisters. This weeks glory came at a price for some. Granted a few of you have said you don’t care about America. That’s fine. But how about caring about your fellow Oasis fans? I believe Liam cares but I've no doubt pulling out of those shows was a strategic decision. He could have done the shows but it would have been at a cost to his voice and risked the UK shows. Rescheduling in an already full diary might be tricky and the cost of cancelling those US shows probably pails in comparison to what cancelling a UK arena tour would cost him. Plus his reputation in the states is already trash so less damage really. Having said that I'm sure there will have been no pleasure taken in letting down people who paid to see him. I just hope lessons are learned for next time.

Do the USA gigs and risk getting more sick/tired putting a HUGE question mark on the start of his high profile UK dates, 10 gigs, 15 days. In the end he made the right decision for him and his career. Somebody was getting let down either way. US fans, UK fans and even Liam's health. Shitty timing for sure.

Amazing to see the whole world catch Liam fever at the same time! Only thing I noticed was some of those Aussie dates aren’t sold out.. Marion Bay and Fremantle legs of Falls are still available, also Melbourne and Sydney headline shows WERE sold out but they upgraded the venues from 2000 capacity venues to 5,500+..
Either way, I’m so excited to excited to see him in Melbourne and Sydney in January. My 5th and 6th times, 4 different cities in 3 different countries! MAD FER IT

I had tickets to the canceled Boston show and its alright folks. My tears have long since dried up, no need to shed anymore on my behalf. It was great just to see him sell the place out after a half-empty Beady Eye show at the same venue.

All Oasis/Gallagher fans deserve what they deserve, it doesn't matter at all if you're British, European, American, Asian etc etc because who are We as fans to judge if another fans are not good enough to be Oasis/Gallagher fans just because they're not from United Kingdom? To me this kind of thoughts are just plain childish. So respect to your fellow fans/members because in the end of the day, We all share same passion and love for Gallaghers and music.

Well I hope it’s not that. They think I’m not being genuine. They think I’m only posting about the canceled USA shows to cause trouble. They don’t want any negative statements made about Liam. True or untrue. They only want LIAM GALLAGHER FEVER. They are WRONG though. I still feel bad for USA fans. I know a couple who didn’t get to attend Boston or philly. They are disappointed. All this U.K. glory had collateral damage. Some members even told me "so what about America and Americans who missed out". Rude as hell comment.

In that case, they should all know by now that this forum is in US (New York) based an Oasis/Gallaghers related forum and L4E's E-zine is operated in England (Leeds). and all those people should read your review of Liam's NY gig last week. It's a shame really that fans are divided in this way. If you love and support a certain band/singer, you should be able to deal with negative comments/review because what you love doesn't have to be loved by everyone. Blind love isn't good.

Says sold out on Liam's website. Was just commenting on that. Seems a bit strange that his official site is saying that and therefore not promoting further sales if it actually isn't. It could just be that it’s sold out on Liam’s ticket partner Ticketmaster. I checked Seetickets. Although if it has sold out then fair enough. I was worried it wouldn’t as it maybe seemed like one massive gig too far but it does look like it will sell out if it hasn’t already. it no longer says sold out on his website lol. Strange goings on. You would think they would know when a gig is sold out or not.

I had nothing against the sentiment. It was the fact it was phrased like he was giving a sermon from an upturned box that made me cringe.

WOW. I was going to the cancelled D.C. gig, but I had to cancel as well. I've got NO ill will towards any fan or gig. It was the best decision and I respect that decision.. but he could have cancelled the gigs before the N.Y. gig and still have done the N.Y. gig. I'm definitely hoping that have reschedules the gigs because I have an airline credit! I do wish he had more tour merch available for his U.S. site.

Do we know for sure that it was Liam's decision? He seems quite "managed" now, which is probably a good thing. His voice isn't particularly built for endurance with that singing style he has, it's winter in North America, and I thought that US tour seemed too tight.

The bottom line is Liam was sick and it was too much to risk. Play the USA gigs, risk getting worse and threatening the high profile UK gigs. In the end the needs of the many out weighed the needs of the few. Its unfortunate but that is what happened. Hopefully Liam comes back as promised and makes up the dates. That would be a nice gesture to his diehards living in America.

He should come back in the summer when flu season is over and the weather is warmer.

THIS ...it seems to be the way for all artists, I have recently bought some Ed Sheeran tickets/Etihad for the wife and its unreal how many times its SOLD OUT only to then come back on a few days/week later with another block! EDIT: Its quite annoying as I bought tier 2 as no standing available ...then a week later standing and tier 2 available for all dates!!! So it doesn't just hit the touts
