Shame there's no Glastonbury in 2018 otherwise...? Could have been colossal! I reckon everyone would have been up for it. NGHFB are yet to do Glasto I think? 2020 headliner I reckon. Start recording new album back end of 2018 for release autumn 2019.

Another Festival date in France Surely that doesn't mean he's 3rd on the bill on that day does it? I know it's a french festival but still, would seem a bit of a backward step.

One of my colleagues is from france and he told me that IAM played in front of 20.000 people in Paris. So I don't think that he will be the headliner.

I must admit I don't know either of the other two acts. A quick Google of Jain says she is a french singer songwriter with one top 5 album in France? I know local acts popularity can sometimes skew the expected order, was just strange to see after how successful he has been this year lol. Anyhow not to worry, not as if I'll be going over there to see him.

Lol goes to show how much notice I take. I knew he wasn't headlining but I didn't realise he was that low down at Lolla. Thinking about it now he was on very early so it makes sense. I suppose you just get used to him being so popular in UK. His history with US is well publicised but I don't really have much concept of his popularity or otherwise in a lot of other countries. I guess I only really know that Oasis were headining a festival in Paris when they split so somewhere in my head must have thought he was more popular there. You live and learn 😊

You live and learn 😊 Oasis in the 00s (or at least from 2005-2009 when I started going to and following festivals around Europe) weren't considered a big headliner. For example they coheadlined Rock Werchter 2009 with Placebo where other nights had Coldplay, Metallica and Kings of Leon headlining alone Playing 3rd/4th down at big expensive festivals is completely normal for solo artists from bands of that level. Imagine someone like, let's say, Josh Homme from QOTSA going solo. He's basically QOTSA but would anyone give him the same slots as a full band? Not really

the whole event - as always in Tyrol - is just a marketing thing to sell rooms - thats not a real festival - looking at the other line-up, I don't know why on earth Liam is playing this shit - they must have offered Debby and Warner a whole lot of money... Neither Debbie or WB book Liam...
