I just found out that WBTM? Album Downloads are not allowed even if you bought physical editions of the album (all of them on my end).
Here is my email to the team:
Thanks for your reply. Can I point out how ludicrous this is? Whose decision was it?
To whomever it may concern aka NG's management:
I bought pretty much every physical edition of the album, and I can't even get a digital download off it?
THIS IS 2017 FOR GOD SAKE!
WAKE UP!
I'll make sure to not throw a penny more into your scam enterprise in the future.

What do you mean they're not alowed? That's what I mean: You do not get a full download of the album unless you have purchased the download, the only tracks you get with the items you have purchased are those in your account on the store. |

Oh. Yeah, I don't see what the problem is there. If you've got the vinyl you can download the full digital album but you're pre-order only gives you the three tracks. Otherwise people would be passing along the vinyl download code. |

Oh. Yeah, I don't see what the problem is there. If you've got the vinyl you can download the full digital album but you're pre-order only gives you the three tracks. Otherwise people would be passing along the vinyl download code. You have to be seriously deluded to think that not authorising a digital download on day of release is going to affect sales orincrease piracy impact. It is simply good practice to offer the download on day of release, instead of having to wait for your physical version to arrive. |

It just looks like another out-of-touch manoeuvre in a long series of out of touch practices (we talked a lot about the promotion of this album on this forum, haven't we). Say what you want about Radiohead, but they always are way ahead of the game when it comes to present their music to their fans. T |

I had originally pre-ordered the CD from Amazon,but when the first "instant grat" track was released, it wasn't available via Amazon so I cancelled and pre-ordered from the official site. Given they've released 3 tracks early as part of the pre-order, I don't understand why they can't do the full album as a download too (Amazon do through their autorip deal). So, officially, I have to wait until my physical copy arrives, then rip it on my laptop, copy to itunes and then onto my phone! Not quite the 21st century experience I was hoping for!

in that case I won't hear the full album until I get my cds/vinyls which I ordered months ago...as for all orders from a Gallagher site it will take at least 2 weeks to have them delivered...  and people wonder, why everyone is buying on Amazon...  |

That's why, just like with Liam, I ordered the CD at the official store and the mp3s on Amazon, so I can at least listen to it until the CD arrives. But it's on Spotify, so if you can stomach the advertisments ...

Did you guys buy tickets for the tour? I'm asking because I got a ticket to see him in Detroit in February and I started getting emails from MusicRedemptions.com that said my ticket includes a digital download of the album as well as the advance songs that came with buying the album from Noel's store. I was pissed about not being able to download it on Noel's site until I remembered that and fished for the email. I just finished downloading it. It's weird, because as I remember I didn't even go through Noel's store, just straight to Ticketmaster. Oh wait, I used the Spotify code. That might have been it. As for my physical copy, I got an email yesterday from DHL saying my delivery was scheduled for Monday. I'll just point out that it was DHL that delivered me AYW, from England, and it was sitting on my Michigan porch on release day because Liam's guys did it right and mailed it in advance. So I'm glad I got my download after all. I've decided not to wait for the vinyl to listen to it because all my first time Oasis-related album experiences except AYW were with CDs anyway, which isn't much better to my ears than mp3. I'm still mad for the rest of you, though. And yeah, Amazon has their auto-rip deal so this is just going to make people go there next time. Noel sure took on some incompetent motherfuckers for management. He could've come here and hired any of us and we'd be doing him a better job. Walk to the store and buy a copy It's Black Friday.
