Good interview and nice to hear Noel tell a story I hadn't heard before (Liam's first autograph).
But I still don't believe Noel when he says he doesn't care if the album sells.

Skinner’s autobiography is really wonderful. A great tale of a working class child with big dreams. And a laugh on every page.

is it just me or does noel contradict himself in basically every interview?
I remember in an interview yeaarrss ago he was saying how because of the way the music industry works, you only release records in early spring or autumn..
then in the chris moyles interview he said he had this album ready to go for months and he was worried about it leaking.
now in this interview he said he released it as soon as it was ready to avoid leaking it
also im pretty sure he said this is the only album where it hasnt had an acoustic guitar but it does?
and hasnt he swapped round who said liam is 'glassing himself' between him and russ on different interviews
anyone else noticed this?

Agree with Frank on WBTM being a grower. All the tracks have got under my skin and the album seems to get better with every listen. That’s not really been the case for me with any Oasis record, and certainly not a HFB one. Blown away by it, to be honest.

He's the creator of the wall and no other source will know the real deal. So this leads to a lot of bickering among the mass (such as this forum) and even the media is confused most times, and hence the notorious contradictory media image. It really is an image/a front, a way of maintaining sanity the only way he thinks he can. |

I feel when Noel has a change of opinion and he surely does from time to time, you are more likely to get to hear about it from an obscure source (foreign interviews, telephone interviews with friends/low-key celebs and stuff, anything with next to no 'heat'. He is a De Niro fan afterall). Not just opinions but the way he works and thinks as well. Anything with good public exposure, he will blag for good and bad. These are deliberate tactics and methods as constant as his 'formulas' and songwriting trademarks. |

Good natural sounding chat, nice to hear some new stuff.
Noel must get sick of telling the same stories.I'm certainly sick of hearing the same thing again and again but I suppose they are made for people who don't listen to every interview he does.
