It’s like Radiohead doing Noel Gallagher drunk on peace & Love.

Get a strong Pink Floyd-Money vibe from this.

I'm a big time sucker for grooves so I love it. Those vocals at the end are intriguing, too. Can anyone get a video like this for The Man Who Built the Moon's clip?

Could definitely imagine Win Butler singing it. Reminds me of both Get Right and Good God Damn.

Could definitely imagine Win Butler singing it. Reminds me of both Get Right and Good God Damn. My brothers initial quip when hearing the trailer was that the album could be something Arcade Fire would do - this new clip adds further proof to it. I totally get that vibe. Some folk seem to criticise some of these songs saying that they are not ‘original’ or ‘experimental’. For a start, nobody was asking for an avant grade experimental album, although we were all asking for something different. Undoubtedly we are getting that. And what is original these days? All new music I hear is mostly an amalgamation of various influences, and that’s good enough for me, and Arcade Fire do that brilliantly. Noel is and always will be a product of his record collection. And arguably 99% of most artists are - it’s just that Noel gets slated more in the press because critics are actively seeking out comparisons to prop up their tired cliche that he is derivative. For sure, he was derivitative for a good 15 years since 2000, often taking one tune, basing it around just one of his favourite acts (e.g. The Kinks, Beatles, Bowie) and running so far with the influence that it resulted in nothing but a cheap pastiche of a great act These new songs are a wide spectrum of influences, with added technicolor sounds. Noel is always at it so best when you can hear various influences, and not just one. That was the case with classic Oasis, and he seems to be doing likewise today. No surprise then that his new music - all of which I absolutely love - is the best material I’ve heard from him since Be Here Now.

That clip is boring as hell (IMO).
And I can see too much female vocals in this album...

It seems like a shimmering sound or bells is a common theme throughout the album so far. This one's definitely got a cool groove, I'm interested to hear the rest.

Loving the sounds of this. HM is sounding more and more like an outlier, but we won't know until we listen to the album as a whole.
At this point, The Man Who Build the Moon sounds like it will be my favourite from everything heard so far.

Sounds good. But we don’t strive for good, we strive for great don’t we? Don’t we? If this wasn’t Noel people wouldn’t give it a chance.
