Usually try to remain impartial. I'm a Gallagher fan more than anything. Noel has no business slagging off Liam's voice though, especially nowadays. Liam's now much better than Noel imo, on record and live. Fair enough criticising him in other aspects but he doesn't lay a glove on him in this era vocally

Liam's been doing the same thing this whole album cycle too though. Liam doesn't pretend not to care. He's very open about his issues with his brother, and the baggage he's dealing with. Fair enough. I just don't see how Noel with his financial status is "cage rattled" by Liam's success. Maybe personally? Alright, but why?

If Liam from now on went on to do Stadiums then im sure it wouldnt matter how many pound notes Noel whipes away the tears with, he will be fucking fuming.

We shouldn't really be surpised by this vulgur side to Noel everyone, last time he got beat in a chart battle he told his enemies to get AIDs.
The funny thing is its probably a more accurate representation of the real him when things get like this.

I mean, Noel's certainly been personal with the digs at Liam if not most recently than at least in the years since the Oasis split and threw Liam under the bus for Oasis ending as well. Neither one has the moral high ground. I still tend to fall on Liam's side of things as I don't think he is very calculated when it comes to this kind of stuff and he comes across as more of a straight-shooter, but again, could just be me.

Liam has gotten right under Noels skin not only with his social media, but with his brilliant new music, and with his surge in popularity now seemingly as he is the number 1 Gallagher in the public eye. It's a situation Noel has never faced before, and he's already making pathetic excuses even before his album has sufaced. Liam has totally and utterly unnerved him and rattled fuck out of his cage, and it's quite clear with the venom that is evident in Noels tone. And to suggest he hasn't listened to the AYW is absolutely fucking laughable. He's riding shotgun now, let's see how this fascinating role reversal pans out over the next year. Your post is perfect. Noel is in a very uncomfortable position and clueless about to do. He's under pressure and will inevitably make an unforced error. He's about to do something absurd that will alienate a large part of his fanbase, making the whole "parka monkeys" debacle look small. Mark my words.

Fair enough criticising him in other aspects but he doesn't lay a glove on him in this era vocally I'm not sure he was having a go at Liam's voice, just a rather funny dig at the chorus of FWIW being a bit artificial, which it is to be fair and one of my few grumbles with As You Were. Tbh I don't mind the brothers having digs at each other, my only problem has been Noel's become extremely pretentious in general and the songs so far don't seem up to scratch.

Why does it have to be financial? there's a lot of ego involved that stretches beyond money. I'm sure Noel see's himself as the musically talented one and has always had that label when it comes to the brothers in the eyes of the public. Now the public seem to be liking Liam, receiving his music well, his concert tickets selling, he's playing arena's etc...Where as not that many people are really talking about Noel. I know people that have been buying tickets for Liam gigs and are barely aware that Noel has an album coming out, nor do they care. Liam was getting people talking about his new music. When it comes to Noel, they're talking about scissors. I'm sure Noel is aware that the public perception has shifted a little bit and Liam is the man of the moment between the two of them.

I just don't see how Noel with his financial status is "cage rattled" by Liam's success. Maybe personally? Alright, but why? I don't think anyone said Noel was financially bothered. The man who wrote Wonderwall and DLBIA may have worries, but money is not likely to be one of them. Of course it's personal. It's always personal. For the near-decade Oasis have been over, Noel's enjoyed the most commercial and critical success. Two consecutive number one albums, one of them double-platinum. Sold out arena tours, the works. Liam, meanwhile, struggled with a declining voice and more tepid commercial returns, as well as a critical drubbing. Noel could rest easy knowing he was the more successful of the two as solo acts, and there was no reason to expect it to change. In fact, for the past three years, Liam seemed to have retired for good. Noel could afford to be affably condescending about his little brother's efforts, encouraging the media's treatment of Liam as the village idiot of rock. Fast-forward to 2017 and Liam's taking his voice seriously for the first time in his life and has experienced a remarkable recovery. He won't ever sound 25 again, but he can sing the classics and sound great doing it. His first album released under his own name went to number 1 and is likely to go platinum in time. He's now facing a sold-out arena tour, and sold out the site of one of Oasis' iconic gigs, all under his own steam. Noel, in turn, is releasing an album he calls experimental and psychedelic, and which his management have promoted dreadfully, and his own tour is selling out more slowly. His brother's name loomed over Old Trafford in City blue, Big Brother-style, and it seems that everyone's reassessing their views of the "village idiot" as a charming -if unpolished- man. He might lose the commercial and critical battles for the first time, and if you think a man with Noel Gallagher's ego "doesn't care", you are very wrong.

Gotta love Noely G. Don’t worry Liam will find a way to screw it all up soon. Once a cheater always a cheater. As you weren’t There's debate, and then there's just plain toxicity.

I’ve never used it after a pun. And it wouldn’t make sense as a pun, there was no shooting. It doesn't make sense that he claimed his account was hacked and yet the tweet is still there. he was joking about it being hacked

Notice how Noel refers to Liam often as the “singer” to belittle, to minimise what Liam brings to the table.

If Liam's album sounds like Adele shouting into a bucket, then Noel's sounds like Yoko Ono queefing into a megaphone.
Probably shouldn't give him any ideas though.

Noel should probably ask Liam for the phone numbers of those song writers because his lyrics have been quite simple lately.

Losing respect for Noel. He’s become a right plank! He doesn’t need to do this to get publicity...
He’s had an army of writers himself, just not the credits. But that never bothered me or stopped me loving his work

This thread is the kind of evidence you could use to get people sectioned. There's quite a lot of hypocritical posting in here too. Posters behaving in a way that they would be calling up other posters on in other threads. This forum has gone to the dogs and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
