I must have missed those Beatles reunion tours too! That was just Allen Klein making a buck! I do believe noel over this topic. I'll clue you in on something. One of them was shot to death. Yes but those endless Beatles LP compilations of the 70s were long before his death.

Again why subject a fanbase to do research on a band that wants to just find your songs. They are recorded and should be accessible to as big of an audience as it can find. This is far below business 101. It used to crack me up in the Oasis touring years that they played many numbers in the US that were never even released in the market. Made zero sense then and zero sense now. On the free version of Spotify, Oasis songs play after Liam's, sometimes. More typically it's Kasabian, but never NGHFB I hunt down songs mentioned here. I've discovered good music from recommendations on this forum. Threads with polls are a favourite.

Drives me a little crazy at times because they will give me inferior Noel live songs of Liam sung songs a lot of times. Does my head in LOL

Who Put the Weight of the World On My Shoulders (The Masterplan Part 2) Today marks the 17th anniversary of the excellent B-Side compilation The Masterplan release. For a long time, I have thought the band should release a second set of B-Sides from the new millennium releases. Would be a perfect time in spring as the reunion rumors will be in full force with Rock Hall election talk and Liam summer shows taking over center stage. Here are the songs I'd like to see. Amazingly, these songs are not available (save a tiny fraction) in any US release. 1) Lets All Make Believe 2) Shout It Loud 3) Pass Me Down the Wine 4) One Way Road 5) Eyeball Tickler 6) Boy With the Blues 7) Sittin' Here in Silence (On My Own) 8) Lord Don't Slow Me Down (Liam Vocal) 9) The Quiet Ones or Won't Let You Down 10) Idlers Dream 11) Thank You For the Good Times 12) Who Put the Weight of the World on My Shoulders 19 years, not 17. Do yer math(s) laddie.

What’s a b-side anyways in 2017?

Couldn't they just get every song that was released officially but aren't on Spotify and just release them on the there as a playlist? Rather than spending money on an actual album nobody outside the Oasis fanbase would buy?
No need for a fanfare at all, just bang them on there. Don't even have to worry about the tracklisting per say really

I'll clue you in on something. One of them was shot to death. Yes but those endless Beatles LP compilations of the 70s were long before his death. And the only compilations worth getting are the two PAST MASTERS albums - compiled seven years after John's death.

Incidentally, what's everyone's thoughts on Who Put The Weight of the World? Loved it initially ten years ago when I first heard it, then I thought it was dreary. But I listened to it again after a very very long time, and I like it. Worked well as part of the GOAL film.

“Who Put the Weight of the World On My Shoulders” perfectly sums up in one song the type of music I don’t want noel to make. Just so plodding.

What’s a b-side anyways in 2017? Well that's just one of many things wrong with 2017 tbh

What’s a b-side anyways in 2017? A bonus track, I guess.

I would buy a box set with b-sides, demos and rarities, all in one package like The Cure's Join The Dots, hell even The Jesus & Mary Chain did this with The Power of Negative Thinking why not Oasis?
