Haven't seen a thread about this yet, but I discovered today that BRMC has a new album coming out early next year after a 5 year hiatus. They released two tracks from the album so far, both sound incredible.

Seen them for the first time on Thursday at Glasgow Barrowlands, very impressed.
I've not listened to a lot of their stuff bar the self-titled album so most of the songs were basically new to me and I loved it.

Same for me, I've only listened to their debut album and liked it a lot but other than that I haven't really listened to their music. These new songs sound good, though. Would love to see them live some day.

Don't know anything about these, but I love the desert rock vibes of 'Haunt'.
I'll keep an eye on this. If they release another single or two, and I like what I hear, I'll buy their album when it comes out.

Honestly I wouldn't delay, just start with their self-titled debut and listen to them all. love the bass on those two tracks, always such a massive part of their sound. Seeing them in Brighton tomorrow and can't wait.

Went to see them in Bristol, they were immense as usual. My only complaint was the played too many of the new songs. Robert did play Sympathetic Noose after me requesting it though Had a drink/chat with Leah and Peter after the gig outside their tour bus, no else recognised them

I saw them at Brighton and yes, they did play quite a few new songs which I don't mind other than the fact that you're just standing there listening to them for the first time not jumping up and down or anything. That said, I think it was an audience of fairly casual fans who didn't know much other than Spread Your Love and Punk Song anyway. I kind of wish I'd gone to the London gig as I reckon the atmosphere would have been a bit better, though they still were great. They played almost all the songs I wanted to hear, Rifles, Ain't No Easy Way, Conscience Killer, Devil's Tattoo, Rival, Six Barrel Shotgun, Stop and a little acoustic bit.

I've seen them 3 times and they're one of those "you gotta see them live" bands. Top live.

Another song revealed today. Wicked synth and guitar riffs. Very catchy and punchy.

The production on this album is pure sex so far. Don't think it's their greatest batch of songs (good enough mind you) but somehow whoever is producing has captured the dirtiness perfectly and elevates it.

Got the album through the post today and given it a spin or two. Think it's decent, a bit less rocky than what they've done before, a bit more of the long, meandering sound with a few surprises like Circus Bazookoo which is bonkers yet enjoyable. It does make the album quite long at just under an hour, and I think it's a shame than Bandung Hum didn't make the record, as I think it would make a good opener rather than the dirge that is DFF (which is a bit like the interludes on Noel's record that I think add nothing). 7 out of 10 so far, I need to listen a bit more. It doesn't help that I'd heard 5 songs from the album before release, as I'm not sure why bands do that.

I'm going to have to catch up on BRMC a little I think. I love the first album and Howl. Take Them On was decent and Baby 81 was pretty good. But the others I've not heard yet and this one is sounding good.

Saw them last night here in Prague. They are always great but the sound last night was the worst I've ever experienced. I assume it was the fault of the venue but they had to attempt Beat the Devil's Tattoo twice before abandoning it and several songs were distorted or the vocals were drowned out almost entirely. It's a shame. I'd like to see a setlist and re-create it instead.

I saw a pro shot gig of them on YouTube recently and the sound wasn't quite right though not terrible but festivals are often shite when it comes to being on TV, so it's hard to tell.

Seeing them for the 4th time next week, but haven't listened to their new album yet. They're always killer live though.

I've seen them several times and they always have great moments live, but Echo off the new album is a perfect moment.
