In Paris the force Liam put into the opening 6/8 songs had a effect towards the end with his vocal delivery dropping low so id say that had something to do with needing a extra day off.
He is giving us a treat with the songs he playing on this tour and Paris was like a flashback to the goodtimes for me just needs to take care of that voice when its in fine form.

Maybe he wasn't hungover but I guess you can't undo a reputation deservedly earned over twenty years overnight can you. He's always gonna get that thrown at him and I'm sure he knows that.

This must have been the greatest gig I ever witnessed. Still in total awe. The crowd, no comparison to the Beady Eye or Noel gigs I've seen, was absolutely insane. The moment they went into Supersonic I thought the venue would collapse...

Several comments on twitter from people who were there who met Paul/the band, all of whom said Liam was actually very bad and they had even considered cancelling the rest of the tour. He may well have hit it hard in Paris which resulted in him become susceptible to it, which is stupid, but by all accounts he's very much been out cold for two days. He's said himself on Twitter he's not sure how it'll go tonight. Someone replied to his tweet today: "recovered from the columbian flu now LG" His response: "How fucking dare you" Definitely on the gear. Paul is hardly going to say to a load of Brits who've travelled over there that he was chiseled off his nut, was he? So him flat out denying it means that he definitely did it? Fucking hell. He probably partied a bit, and that led to him being susceptible to minus temperatures and catching a bit of a bug. it's shite that he cancelled but I highly doubt it's because he had a hangover.

He has been answering some tweets today. No hit hard in Paris, no hungover. We should believe him...why not? That lovely French doctor has also done miracles to his spelling and grammar Kinda ironic given France's general hesistance in adopting English words

Great gig, by far the best vocal performance I've heard from Liam (you can tell I've only seen him live from 2000 onwards). Those drawn-out sneers sell records Last time I've seen Liam was with Beady Eye, singing mediocre songs not too well for a quite disinterested audience. This was so different - from the voice to his confidence to crowd reception. He was probably not 100%, but was still pushing the voice and is singing now instead of shouting over the guitars. Band plays well, guitars are sometimes a bit thin, but it's hard to replicate that monster sound from Oasis. And also, the main draw is Liam's voice, so it's better when he does not have to fight that huge volume. Backup vocals could improve though Quite a wild crowd, the pressure in the front rows was very intense during the first songs, so quite a lot of people headed back to a (little) more peaceful territory, including me. As You Were songs got a great reception. I'm really impressed by Paper Crown live. Supersonic and Some Might Say were just mad. It's a delight to hear both from an in-form Liam - maybe they are the quintessential Oasis songs live to me. Supersonic is just a juggernaut live, it pretty much bulldozes everything in its way. See ya, Liam, in Budapest during the summer Btw the baristas at the cafe I'm sitting in are singing Some Might Say I guess we were at the same gig

I know yeah, I mean recovering from a throat condition within 24 hours thanks to a magic Parisian doctor is far more likely.

What a gig! Great crowd. And a beautiful Liam-party afterwards at a bar that only played Oasis songs

Don't travel for gigs if you don't want the risk of it potentially being cancelled then. It's a possibility with any gig.
