I've met Jay several times when he was playing with Kasabian. He really is a very easy going nice guy and very pleasant to chat with. He loves getting attention by fans though

Great gig at the Olympia, crowd was enthusiastic, belting out the Oasis hits (couldn't hear Liam on these songs for the fans singing around me even though I was standing at the back).
A bit short though, 75 mins including the encore. They played "Supersonic" before "Cigs & alcohol", was a nice surprise; otherwise same setlist as the previous European shows.

New parka indeed, hadn't seen that blue one yet.
His voice was a bit weary, that was particularly noticeable on songs like "Paper crown", though it didn't spoil the gig for me.
Jay managed to play the riff of "Rock'n'roll star" properly this time but to compensate for it he fucked up the intro of "Slide away". What a shame...
Anyway, Liam was in good spirits, "Be here now" was outstanding, really massive, to his credit Jay totally nailed that song with his guitar licks.
"Wall of glass" was powerful too when the drums start pounding before the chorus & the guitars & bass kick in heavily.
Don't know why Liam keeps "Universal gleam" in the setlist, I find it dull & it drags on; I would have loved to hear "I've all I need" instead.
"Wonderwall" was rushed as usual on this tour, with Liam only deigning to sing the very last chorus, but I didn't really care about that song anyway.
All in all a successful comeback for Liam!
(Mostly thirty-year-olds in the audience, didn't see many young fans unlike at the Oasis gigs in 2005/2008-9)

The gig in Paris was so good, can't remember the last time I had that much fun at a show. Liam seemed really happy with the crowd, he even said something in French, I think it was just the word "magnifique", and he dedicated Greedy Soul to all the witches. He gave his tambourine to a young kid near the front. Loved every minute of it
