I love Canada and envy Canadians for a lot of stuff, most notably Justin Trudeau. I wish we had someone like him in Europe.

We sadly already have someone like him in Europe and he's called Emmanuel Macron. One is more than enough. Tbh I don’t know much about Macron, but Trudeau seems way more progressive and left-wing than Macron to me. What do they have in common? Honest question. They're both tradional liberal guys. They believe in the market and they don't hide it. Both of them heavily abuse of prefabricated communication methods, with revulsing cynism ("make our planet great again" for Macron, a guy who has a ecologic program as big as a ant ; Trudeau who keeps saying he wants to save the planet while praising CETA and TAFTA, and many other things). In the end, their progressism is only a veneer to hide their absolute emptiness and the fact they are both right-wing, economically speaking. |

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. I know that some people outside of Serbia are praising our president Vucic based on some informations that they hear, but only we in Serbia know everything about him and what an idiot he is. The truth is, you don´t get anywhere near the president/prime minister position if you are not ´one of them´´. So, they are all the same and doing what they are told to do. I wish that we have some independent scientist or artists as a prime minister, not this puppet. Great socks though  |

Well, true perfection hat to be imperfect  No but seriously, I agree with you about the CETA affair, that was a big letdown. I don’t think he’s perfect, he’s a politician after all.. Still, he’s waaaay better than anything we have in Italy right now, right or left-wing. On a positive note, after what he has just said about Italy, I get why you don’t like Macron. |

As I say, he puts a lot of his opinions across as if they are facts and because he is intelligent and articulate, gullible people believe them and are taken in. I cannot stand folk like him anyway regardless of his views - a smug wanker who thinks he is better than everyone else. Worked in academia his whole life - completely institutionalised. |
