Regardless of what anybody thinks of him, the fact that he’s going to prison for “breaching the peace” shows how spineless Britain has become socially. He'd done it before and been very clearly warned by a judge and given a suspended sentence, he broke those terms. You talk of freedom, you would have probably locked him up for 825 years for the same offense. |

He commited an offence which could have prejudiced a trial, an offence he’d been warned about previously. He was arrested, charged, admitted the charge so was sentenced. Just like anybody else would. The fact that you put the words breach of the peace in inverted commas makes me think you dont understand what that actually means and how the police here use it, |
