I hope this is true. Holy Mountain must be the song they've been rehearsing in soundchecks since I heard it's not on the trailer.

Surprising it's not beautiful world given the Instagram post of the video shoot followed by it featured in the trailer. From a promotional perspective that's playing it a little loosey goosey. I'm guessing were getting two different singles? One could be an American and the other is a UK? Possibly, but in this internet age, that seems counter-productive. Surely, he could have already filmed his videos for singles one and two. You'd just think he'd tease single one and not the second. Not a huge thing either way. Maybe Noel just DGAF.

Seems to me an extra track is slipped in after Fort Knox and Beautiful World. We might have heard 5 snippets in that video without even realizing it.

I was quoting people who have heard the other song being soundchecked and couldn't identify it in the trailer. By the way, I only hear three songs in it (assuming the "get yourself together" bit comes from Fort Knox).

Fort Knox is mainly an instrumental with a litany akin to I Can See it Now.

It’s another song.

Why do I get the impression that Holy Mountain will be a more traditional Noel tune? Similar to The Mexican we've heard - doesn't bode well! Might make sense to have something a bit more familiar as lead single?

Noel posted three different clips on his instagram I think of each song so it's definitely 3 songs.

Well, Noel himself told he was going to deliver all videos till June... It clearly didnt happen, but it means he was going to shoot more than one video for different singles. I guess I read somewhere he's been doing that for the HFB. All first three singles from the debut had videos before it hit the shelves. Anyway, how reliable is this list?

Because it has lyrics i would never consider that an instrumental unless all the early journalists don’t know what that term means.

Might make sense to have something a bit more familiar as lead single? I think it's more likely that Noel would want to make a statement with the first single - "this is the sound I'm going for" kind of thing. To be honest, I don't read anything into those "it's like The Mexican", "it's like The Beatles", "it's like Bob Marley doing a Woody Allen impression over jazzy disco beats" statements anymore. It normally ends up being nothing important to how you actually feel about the tune.

It normally ends up being nothing important to how you actually feel about the tune. For HFB's he released TDOYAM as the first single for the sole purpose of making a statement. Originally, he wanted If I Had A Gun. That pretty much tells you that it's going to be a wild card in terms of what we get.
