I'm gutted I can't be in Milan tomorrow. A friend has offered me a couple of tickets but I have to work until late in the evening. Isn ´t there a broadcast on the radio tomorrow? There should be, yes. Although I'm not expecting too much... those DJs will talk about meaningless shit during half of the songs, as they usually do

I'm sorry to say but that Hamburg gig was the most underwhelming thing I've been to in a long time... Maybe it's because I'm used to UK gigs but the crowd was dead (except for maybe the first couple of rows but even they seemed quiet in comparison), little to no atmosphere, Noel said next to nothing throughout, interaction with the audience was at a bare minimum, some of the songs were so self-indulgend and drawn out that people with seats were nodding off...
Personally, I still don't see the need for the AYNIL cover, although, obviously, it was one of the few songs that actually got a reaction from the crowd.
Dead in the Water was great though and surprisingly, people were actually singing along to it, yet hardly anyone did to Holy Mountain?!
It was well worth the trip though. Hamburg is such a beautiful city! It was warm and sunny and the people were incredibly friendly so overall, the gig which was the main reason for me going there, kinda turned into just an add-on to 2 amazing days :-)

But then again, this last record doesn't feel to me like Noel is "hungry" or "madferit" at the moment.

I've never heard a band called "Mooon" which are gonna play at aftershow of Noel's Amsterdam gig, so I just checked them out. Very 60's. mooonband.bandcamp.com/

Any predictions for the UK tour setlist? Will Noel shake things up or keep delivering the same setlist of previous concerts? I for one hope he adds If Love Is the Law and The Man Who Built The Moon in place of Go let it out and the All you need is Love cover. I would LOVE it if he dropped Wonderwall and She taught me... and added The Masterplan and Black N' White Sunshine!

Absolutely awesome. Not my first choices but great additions, nevertheless

Oh, finally! We've had enough of HTWA and Wonderwall, give us some new tunes, Noel.

Personally I'd love it if he added She's Electric to the set. Under rated and would be a propper singalong. Not been played since about 2002!

Same set as has been standard - first half of the gig sounded immense and the flow was great.
Think it really slowed down after BCWYWF, though. The encore picked it up a bit but just don't really like the last 3/4 songs of the main set prior to AKA...
Not that I don't love HTWA or Wonderwall, but the flow just isn't there imo. That's the place where the set needs changing for me, but I doubt he'll take those two out.

God, I really hope he'll play the soundcheck ones next week. That would make it a bit more exciting

Aw, the last 3 songs he played during soundcheck yesterday. ONLY DURING SOUNDCHECK! Noel Gallagher is teasing us. I knew it because he's a Gemini.
