I do like scaring the tourist on my bike when they set foot in Amsterdam...and set foot on the bicycle-lane without knowing doing so That's one of the best thing about cycling. Scare stupid people who cant differentiate a walking path from a bike path, i gotta say i kinda like it too You'd feel at home in London. It feels like cyclists are more dangerous and arrogant than car drivers.

It feels like cyclists are more dangerous and arrogant than car drivers. I wouldn't even dare to ride on London streets. They're all fuckin crazy: bus drivers, cab drivers and regular drivers. I guess that's why cyclists are more arrogant. It's a survival mechanism because other drivers are not accepting them. It's a big problem here too. On the other hand, cyclists should respect all signs and driving rules too. Some of them are really dangerous because of that. Personally, I only ride on bike paths and in the forest usually.

I wouldn't dare to cycle in London. Hell, I probably wouldn't even dare doing that in Amsterdam.

Noel has had multiple platinum selling albums and multiple sold out arena tours. I think he'll be alright. In all fairness, tickets are still available for many UK venues.

Yeh just been announced tonight. I'm seeing him in Manchester at the start of May though, so not really arsed. That's a fantastic tweet though haha. Spot on. I don't actually mind the Courteeners, but their fans (obviously, not all of them) just seem to think they're the biggest and best band going. They're distinctly average.

I've heard of the Courteeners, but I don't think I've ever heard any of their songs. Are they any good?

I've heard of the Courteeners, but I don't think I've ever heard any of their songs. Are they any good? Personally, I think they're pretty average. I've seen them live at T in the Park in 2015 and they were good, but past that I can't really listen to them. They've got one or two songs that I think are alright. In the UK, especially the north and north west, they have a huge following - mainly of 16-24 year olds who think they're the best about. My mate is one of them. But they all seem to try and force them down your throat - they can't shut up about what really is nothing more than a half-decent band with a few catchy tunes. So it's probably the fans that annoy me more than anything. Liam Fray wears nice coats, though.

My friends in Manchester love them. I've seen them once at Paradiso (upstairs hall) and it was packed by Brits. We were only a few of non-British at the gig. I think they're gonna have a break for a while and Liam Fray recentely played (or will play) a solo gig in Manchester.

Played the academies over here (midsize venues). Don't think they're doing a new album but they're touring next year to support the 10-year anniversary of their debut. My friend who is madly into them wants me to go as they're throwing something big to mark it (though not sure what it is yet, probably a Heaton Park type gig), but I've already said no haha. I can't be putting up with the vast majority of their fans.

It was the worst gig experience in my entire gig history. Even Liam Fray got annoyed by them at some point and he made a comment during the gig.

I'm British, from the north, and hate Courteeners fans as a rule of thumb. They're just annoying. Of course, this doesn't apply to all of them, but they all do seem to rub it in your face how much they're into music because they like the Courteeners. I'm like 'sound, I don't care', haha.

That Saturday is quite meh but I like Sunday. Flights 150€ 122€ to Manchester and back, and I've never seen Noel live... Maybe, just maybe, I could go there. Helsinki-Stockholm-Manchester 62€ 23.5.2018 (or if I skipped Saturday I could fly there 26. day for the same price) Edinburgh-Dublin-Helsinki 78€ 1.6.2018Tempted. Edit. Glasgow-Dublin 22€ 31.5.2018 Dublin-Helsinki 38€ 1.6.2018 Even more tempted! Never been to Dublin. Football season is over, though

I like The Courteeners a lot. First album is really good, from then on they haven't made a consistent album but have a lot of good songs. They are quite fun really, nothing groundbreaking , they are not going to change your lives but they have good melodies

They are quite fun really, nothing groundbreaking , they are not going to change your lives but they have good melodies The only tune I really like is 'Next Time You Call' from their 2014 or 2015 album (not sure what that's called). Very Arctic Monkeys-esque. Speaking of other bands, Rev & The Makers have done two really great albums in recent years. Their latest, 'Death of a King' is pretty solid, and like their previous one 'Mirrors' is a concept album in that all the songs blend together into one 40-minute medley. 'Mirrors' is superb, and I'd recommend that album to anybody. 'Stuck On You' sounds like NGHFB, and 'Mr Glasshalfempty' is pretty much Arctic Monkeys, but they're sandwiched in between some really great, different style tunes.

Only two sold out shows? Ouch. That's is kind of sad.Im my mind that means when one is in a good position the other it isn't. When beady eye was sinking,Noel was selling out arenas easy. Now Liam is the one selling out arenas easy, even sold out a much bigger venue than a arena and Noel is struggling to sell his tickets.

Liam's a bit more fresh with his solo run, people have probably seen Noel plenty of times and maybe want to hear the new album before spending money.

Plus, I doubt Noel is gonna have many 'new' fans at his gigs. Liam's is going to be at least half (if not two thirds) people aged 16-20 who have probably never seen NG or Beady Eye, never mind Oasis.
