Hello everyone, The follow-up to the unheard phone-interview from 1997 that was shared last month is finally available on OasisArchive. oasisarchive.com/noel-gallagher-1997-crathorne-hotel-interview/It's yet another Noel Gallagher interview done just over 20 years ago (missed the deadline due to tech issues) - that has never been online before. Along with the audio, there is also unseen pictures! This conversational interview was recorded by the editor of a now defunct Oasis fanzine called "Must Be The Music" at the Crathorne Hotel in Yarm on 18th September 1997, and is arguably much more interesting for fans than the previous phone interview we posted. In the interview Noel talks about how they record all of their gigs, about the Oasis archive (not my website, mind you), his visions for the Oasis Anthology, and recorded b-sides from the time. If you’re a die-hard fan; you’ll love this! Youtube/stream will be in a link/new post just after this. The FLAC is slightly longer as it has some phone conversation on the same tape that I removed on YT. In case you missed the previous 1997 interview I posted, it can be found here; oasisarchive.com/noel-gallagher-1997-unheard-phone-interview/Feel free to share the recording, but please respect that a lot of hard work (and money!) went into making this available to you for free. A credit or link to OasisArchive and Oasis Recording Info would be appreciated. Credits: The tape and pictures were found and transferred/scanned by myself, with the audio then remastered by davidjay from the excellent Oasis Recording Info. I would personally like to to thank David for his amazing work on improving the audio on this. PS: I hope to travel to pick up some more possibly rare or uncirculating bits, so stay tuned! Also, if anyone recorded Oasis on video (VHS, Hi8, whatever); please get in touch! I can help transfer footage.

Listened last night. Really great/funny little interview. That's also a cracking jumper. Thanks - really glad you liked it! Speaking of the jumper, it just dawned on me that he is wearing the same one the next day walking into the soundcheck for Aberdeen (video link here); oasisarchive.com/video-aberdeen-scotland-1997/I need to start work on that timeline of Noel's jumpers one day. They really needed to be selling an Oasis jumper at these gigs. A missed opportunity.

Hahaha so funny to hear Noel and this guy overly praise Fade In-Out and Noel must have said "yeah" 987 times.

I've enjoyed both of these but have to say Noel made me cringe over and over. I think a combination of coming off drugs and the massive decline in popularity between 1996 and 2000 saved him from complete self delusion.
