This is the gut that filmed greedy soul.. some pictures from the gig are on here It wasn't me on the stage🤣 We are entitled to the tracks of his new album of course - it seems to ring well - more of the Oasis. Still this attitude of little wanker but nice with the public, studious atmosphere even if a girl managed to climb on the small stage to go make him a kiss. He takes the opportunity to discuss with the front rows or spin his tambourine, he will leave the scene not without having signed some autographs and will not hesitate to squeeze pognes. Nice to see him in these conditions: a room with 400 seats, a good concert (about 65 minutes) but not enough to get up at night either. Note the precision of Drew McConnell of the Babyshambles of Peter Doherty on bass. There was a small sprinkler after but we did not linger, we had a concert at the Silencio which started at 10pm. rockerparis.blogspot.in/2017/09/liam-gallagher-concert-tres-tres-prive.html?m=1

Seems to be the closest we'll get to Liam on 'Full On'.

Thank the heavens we have that voice again. He actually sounds like he's getting better as the tour goes on. He sounds like he could hit a bit higher than he is right now but is too used to holding back to protect his voice. Unbelievable improvement.

Seems to be the closest we'll get to Liam on 'Full On'. "I got my crucifix... YEAH!" may be my favorite part of the whole song. Love the attitude and the snarl.

Very very strong. Just the right amount of nasality and raspiness. Also, it's nice to hear him forming his words properly. Along with cutting notes off, that's been the thing that's annoyed me most about his live vocal since it started to turn in the early 00s. You can hear it most clearly in their Etihad Stadium gig from 2005 - the tone of his voice actually isn't too bad there, but the lyrics are sung with all the clarity of Brando with two cotton balls wedged in his cheeks. I know not every gig this year has been brilliant, but on average this has to be the best his voice has held up on tour since, like, SOTSOG era?... I'm kinda miffed with meself for not being arsed enough to get tickets for one of his December shows now, but I just wasn't feeling it at the time when they went on sale. But, probably he'll be able to make another album after this one with how everything seems to be panning out, so I can always catch him next time round.

If Noel ever gets to see these videos, he must be pleased to see Liam getting back to singing at this level again, even if it may be through gritted teeth...

Solid voice, but that band, so so empty.

The growl on "burning" is off the charts.

He might as well sing acapella, where is the band ?
Usually on those recordings, it's saturated with the bass and drums sound. FFS, turn them up.

Because the fan recording is so close to stage he or she is picking up mosty the vocal monitors liam has onstage. The rest of band has in ear monitors so their instruments are not being blasted onstage like the vocals are. The recording being close to stage also means we can't hear the main PA very well which is a full band mix and I'm sure sounds much more powerful.
This is just my slightly educated guess being a union stagehand in the states

It's been the same problem even with pro shot during festival. They simply dont play loud enough. Liam's voice needs agressive musicians, not musicians that just strum their guitar gently or play drums like they are in a indie band, which is the case here.

I think the band have got tighter and tighter as the tour has progressed. Reading was brilliant.

It's a shame he doesn't sing the first line of the chorus without the breaths either side of the 'I'm' as it would sound so much better.

Man, did they even bring guitars? You're gonna get slaughtered for saying that. The real question is: did they even bring musicians ? The piano player is good, that's about it. Luckily Liam is on top form

Luckily Liam is on top form Its a bit crazy to suggest that they played the whole gig and no one in the crowd could hear anything isn't it? More likely the audience recording? Reports from the initial gigs in the spring suggested they were very loud. I think they're all pretty good after some initial reservations.

In such a tiny venue, guitars should fill the room, the drums should be over every audience recordings. As i said earlier, this band lacks overall agressivity. They're all a bit soft in their playing. Liam's songs are very raw and need something a bit louder. I've not seen them live yet but it all sound a bit flat to me. I watched a couple of pro shots, not just audience recordings. I hope i'm wrong come november though, coz Liam's voice has never been better in the past 15 years. They're just not doing those songs justice.

We will find out when the pro recording is released. I think the band is much better now but would be better if Jay just did rhythm.

Thought the band sounded fantastic at Reading. Sure did from the crowd... Also Liam sounds mega in that video. The difference from Beady Eye really is night and day...
