In a royal rumble of Bonehead, Guigs, Alan, Tony, Gem and Andy who wins? Bonehead 100%. Tony would get eliminated due to Noel interference. Guigs would eliminate himself. Then Bonehead would go crazy and throw both Gem and Andy out at the same time.

The most statuesque, boring, dull, lifeless participant that the band ever had. By a hell of a distance.

Andy brought "Turn up the sun", which is a great tune, a nice album & setlist opener. Shame they dropped it on the DOYS tour (they should've ditched "The meaning of soul" instead), too bad as well Beady Eye didn't play it again.

Fun fact: Liam made the news here in Sweden by getting in a fight with Swedish music journo Andres Lokko during a night out after their HC tour gig in Stockholm, indirectly caused by Andy being friends with both. Lokko was apprently briefly romantically involved with Lisa Moorish at one time which may have contributed to a drunken Liam being rude/inappropriate to his then-girlfriend, after which they had somewhat of a scuffle before Andy intervened and Liam was escorted out of the club.
Other than that he was a solid bass player and wrote Turn Up the Sun, I guess?

What qualities did Andy Bell bring to Oasis? He was a great live bass player. He really was. A good example is 'Fade Away' from the Greek Theatre, L.A in 2001. Just one example but he had a very loose style for a guy that barely moves on stage. Andy gets way too much stick from Oasis fans.

Turn Up The Sun is a fine tune.

He marked Oasis' transition from a dirty, scruffy rock n roll group to a polished pop rock Super Group

He was great at what he did and that´s quite an achievement for a guy who did not move on stage.

He added some groove to the live sound, but other than that, not much. His former band's influence on the records wasn't noticeable and that was the only reason to be excited for him to be in Oasis.

It's been said before but he brought better bass playing. The songs could have proper bass instead of just playing one note at a time. The most statuesque, boring, dull, lifeless participant that the band ever had. By a hell of a distance. What are you on about? Have you seen Oasis live? Ever? They all stand still and do nothing, especially Guigsy and Bonehead.

Who the fuck is Andy Bell?
Noel should have hired a proper bass player.

But onstage he brought stillness to a whole new level. And that's before I even mention his despicable songwriting (bar TUTS which is decent)

Judging by his general demeanour he brought a fair bit of Temazepam.

He just jumped out on him "we're not here to bash Oasis". That was really awkward! That was Gem actually.
