What if Bonehead sang Wonderwall instead of Liam, would it have still been a hit? I'm sure I read an interview with Noel saying they were gonna let Bonehead sing a song and be the Ringo of the group.

Not having Bonehead as lead singer was perhaps what stopped Oasis from being wholeheartedly embraced by America.

The reason for this topic is I heard a story of Bonehead singing Wonderwall in a hotel when they were all drunk and Noel said he's put it on the album. Then Bonehead heard the final version and had a big row with Noel then Quigsy got involved which ended with Bonehead hitting him on the head with Liam's tambourine. Anyway probably bullshit. |

You Australians clearly have taste ;-) it’s probably the most famous #2 ever in the UK. It stayed in the charts for soooo long they had to delay the release of Don’t Look Back In Anger. |
