The gig was amazing. He does sound just as well as 98'. The soul of Oasis songs is missing because the Noel and others were not there.

Must be hard for the crowd to get going if they can't hear fuck all tbh. Is the sound down to the organizers or is it Liams crew? If it's down to Liam then he needs better crew.

Loved today's performance.
So, how long until one of our talented audio editor L4E'ers take Liam's vocals from Don't Look Back in Anger tonight and splice it over an instrumental version of Oasis doing the song? (wishful thinking!) Liam on the verses and bridge and Noel on the chorus a la Acquiesce. How great would this sound?

Liam's gonna kick off when he finds out half the crowd couldn't hear anything... fucking hell.

Shame Liam's performance was sabotaged by sound problems for the audience, that's unacceptable! It's great that he finally sang "Don't look back in anger", sadly he didn't go all the way & sing the chorus. I thought he'd do it like Noel did in 2000, let the crowd sing the first two choruses & sing the third one himself. Wonder if he'll play it again at the next gigs of switch back to "Live forever"...

Liam's gonna kick off when he finds out half the crowd couldn't hear anything... fucking hell. I think it was why he shouted 'Turn the fucking ....... up' during Morning Glory and then they couldn't show it on BBC4. At least it sounded LOUD on the iplayer

Yeah, pretty shit state of affairs when the people at home who paid fuck all get an infinitely better experience than the people actually at the fucking gig. It sounded great through the BBC so it must be something on Glastonbury's end rather than Liam's people no as presumably the BBC feed is taken straight from the soundboard, sounds like going from there to actual fucking speakers was the problem.

Must be as he sounded good even on the songs I don't like yet via iplayer, hopefully he gets wind of it and they'll sort it out as soundboard was really good with his voice, not convinced by this band yet either, the Manchester gig they sounded really good but everything since hasn't been up to scratch

Holy fucking shit. No exaggeration, Liam sounds as good as he did in 1998. Today seems to be completely magical. Well in, Rkid.

This was fucking mega. Wonder why he didn't do the Don't know Don't care part. He sounded phenomenal. First time I seen Oasis was in Wolverhampton in 1994 and he did that, even though opposite of the record I always thought Liam singing that and Noel doing "Slide Away" was a billion times better, that said they didn't do Live Forever that day either so not a new thing to make strange choices by either of them Always said an already great song would have gone up a notch if Liam did that and Noel did Slide Away at the end but i'm being picky there

I'm on vacation right now & smiling like an idiot at how good he sounds. Awesome performance, damn shame about the sound though. Don't Look Back In Anger was an amazing surprise. When I get home I'll take a shot at syncing up some sort of multitrack version like a few members here asked for. I'm saving the new songs for the album but I'm getting more hype after every performance - it seems like he's gaining confidence which is awesome to see!
