IF I were a Patriots fan, I would be most worried about one fact, name the great QB the Patriots have face this season. Think really hard.
It's not incorrect to say that the Patriots have played an incredibly weak schedule, even in the playoffs. The two best QB's they've faced this season are Russell Wilson, from a Seahawks team that was nowhere near their former selves, and Big Ben, who gets the yips on the road (Plus, that Steelers team were a dysfunctional bunch going into the playoffs, and lost Le'Veon in the first quarter). That's it.
Who have they faced? Palmer, Tannehill, Osweiler, Tyrod Taylor, Whitehurst, Dalton, Landry Jones, Taylor, Kaepernick, Fitzpatrick, Goff, Flacco, Siemian, Fitzpatrick, Matt Moore.
Put it this way, think about the top teams this season. Dallas, The Packers, The Falcons, The Giants, The Chiefs, the Raiders. The Patriots have avoided every single one of them.
If I were a Patriots fan, I wouldn't be highly confident. The Falcons have two clear RB1's with varying styles. It won't be as simple as just shut down the run. I'm not sure they can shut down both Coleman and Freeman. Also, it won't be as simple as just shut down Julio. The Falcons have played multiple games without Julio. If they double team Julio, guys like Gabriel and Hardy will beat them. They are used to winning without Julio. They are five deep at WR. Also, they're not a one-dimensional offense. As I've said, they can go with a ground and pound game, they can win with a dink-and-dunk game, they can beat you deep, and they can sustain long drives. They're an incredibly patient offense. I could honestly see the Patriots losing this game badly.
Their defense is somewhat overrated, considering who they have faced. And it's been mostly based on takeaways, which isn't surprising, considering who they've faced. But the Falcons have had the least amount of giveaways this season. So, they don't turn the ball over.
Also, in case you're wondering. Who have the Falcons faced?
Wilson, Rodgers, Winston, Carr, Brees, Newton, Siemian, Wilson, Rivers, Rodgers, Winston, Wentz, Palmer, Alex Smith, Goff, Kaepernick, Newton, and Brees.
They have played other high powered offenses, and have shown that they can keep-up (something the Patriots have not demonstrated as of yet). Jamies Winston alone is better than 90% of the QB's New England has faced this season.
The Falcons this season, are a much more tested team than the Patriots. If you're a Patriots fan and you honestly think you're set-up well for this game, then you've seriously underestimated the Falcons.

Majority of the qb's you named that the Falcons played are: young, not very good or are on bad teams....the Panthers weren't good this year, for example, played them twice.... Siemian and Kaepernick? Yikes..... Looked at the Facons schedule, their most impressive game was almost beating the Seahawks at Seattle. Patriots don't make the schedule, they just play it. Anyway, looking forward to the game, gonna be wearing the exact same clothes I wore for the Super Bowl two years ago when the Patriots beat the Seahwaks, all the way down to the same underwear and socks, can't wait. Thanks.

Thanks. Name one QB that the Patriots have faced that are better than the ones the Falcons have? Let me try to process that Falcons beat Aaaron Rodgers twice. Do the Patriots have ONE game against a QB of his caliber this season? Um. No. What about Breese, twice mind you. Have the Patriots faced an offense of that caliber at all this season (Mind you, Brees threw for 5,200 yards this season)? No. That's four wins that already more impressive than any of the Patriots'. Also, let's not forget about their win at Oakland against the Raiders. At Seattle is really their most impressive win? Tell me, what win do the Patriots have that that's impressive. Because so far, playoffs included, I've counted, at minimum 6 wins against high powered offenses. Something the Patriots can't boast. Every team faces some middling QB's. But you have to admit, that the Patriots have faced more than just about ANY team in the NFL. Now, that's not their fault. But, it is a reason to doubt them, and to give the Falcons more credit than some people might be willing to give. You play who you play, but the problem is that you play who you play, and the Patriots have played a long list of nobodies.

The Saints weren't very good this season....played them twice, as you said. Goff, the Rams, well..... I wasn't that impressed with the Raiders, with or without Derek Carr.....mentioned that earlier in this thread, during the season.... Anyway, like I said, can't wait for the Super Bowl, expecting a high score, taking the over and a blue Gatorade bath.... God bless.

I'm very much expecting the Patriots to run the football at a steady rate. Atlanta was 16th against the run and that is including the fact that they blew out so many teams and were forced to throw the ball and still teams rushed for huge chucks of yardage.
They also have a very weak secondary at 28th. There is a reason they were ranked 27th in defense this season. They are going to have a hard time trying to defend both sides of this Patriots offensive attack.
The best defense in a game like this is the run game. I'd take the under in points.
My Patriots plan............
1) Elect to receive the ball if winning toss
2) Attempt to attain a two score lead
3) Then run the football as much as possible and hit them with big passing plays when Atlanta tries to adjust mid game
4) Stop the Falcons run game which was 5th best in the NFL
5) Double team Julio Jones, probably with Ryan and the rest of the Rutgers boys
6) Malcolm Butler coves Sanu
7) Pray for the best

Getting real tired of the Patriots played and beat no one narrative. They don't make the schedules. Going into the year Arizona, Cincinnati and the Jets were supposed to be good. All those teams won 10+ games in 2015. Combine that with having to play the defending Super Bowl champions Denver, Pittsburgh and Baltimore. Sure it got a lot easier as the year went but the Patriots can only control themselves. They played high level football in all three facets of the game....offensive....defense.....and special teams. They played hard and deserve to be where they are. Are they going to win this Sunday? I'm not sure but I know this, they have a fighting chance and I'll take it. #OneMore

fun fact of the day:
the falcons are 4-4 this season (including the postseason) when julio jones gets over 100 yards.
under 100? 9-1.
