I mean, Noel's stuff is and always will be better but Liam is well on form going by this. The crowd do the work and the first three new tracks he played were all rockers which really meant his voice wasn't the sole focus. Paper Crown doesn't work when it's a brand new song and nobody knows it, plus his voice isn't what it was. DYKWIM and Slide Away have been mega. Beg to differ. Paper Crown sounds fucking great. |

The band sound very 1997 which is good IMO. No point trying to over do it.

As I've said, it's way too early to judge but to me it sounded like a DGSS outtake. Which is not a good thing. I hope it's better on the record. |

New songs sound average on first listen apart from Wall of Glass although quite liked Greedy Soul and hopefully they'll be growers.
I'm sure they'll sound better on the album too as Liam's voice seemed to be struggling on the slower ones which is a bit of a worry.
