Pretty sure Live Forever will be the encore, certainly couldn't be the opener in light of events.... BTW, just a thought... instead of getting a taxi to / from the venue, maybe walk it and donate the 5 quid or whatever you would've paid to this site: www.justgiving.com/campaigns/charity/redcross/ManchesterEmergencyFundLikewise, as I'm not going to the gig and have a bit of time on my hands Tuesday and Wednesday, if anyone needs ferrying from / to the airport or pick up before / drop off after the gig within reasonable distance, I'll happily provide free car transport in exchange for donations to the above site. My friend in Manchester could buy an another spare ticket for his wife, so they're seeing Liam's first ever solo gig together tomorrow. They live in Oldham, so I don't think they'll need a taxi, but I'll pass the link to them. I'm so happy for them. Even I can't make it myself, I can't tell how exited I am now. Such a great feeling to see Liam is finally back to where he belongs to. |

What do you think Liam will open with? Here are my top 5 choices.. 1. DO YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN- because he's in Manchester I can see the (back into the home where I was born) bit really being huge at the beginning. 2. WALL OF GLASS - he might just get it out of the way when he has the crowd by the balls the most which is right at the beginning. 3. BE HERE NOW - I don't think the tune itself works as an opener but he may go with it. 4. HELLO - this would be awesome imo 5. MORNING GLORY - I just think it's always been saved for middle or end. Would be awesome to start with it and shock the crowd with it cuz it's such a belter Long Shots: Roll With it, Supersonic, What's your top 5 most likely to open with? Be Here Now doesn't work as an opener?? |

I agree with D'you know what I mean. He mentioned it and will sound big. I reckon he'll open with a few Oasis songs to be honest and smash it. Great choice to start with a small gig. I really hope it snowballs and he starts doing arenas... I notice Noel did it this way and had heavy Oasis sets to begin with. Now he's settled he mixes up old and new. I hope Liam new tour blows up as people want to hear him singing the classics and new stuff
