Maybe it's the old album cover/title they scrapped and decided to do fresh photoshoot in Paris? Went back to some old news when Liam's signed to Warner Music, the president of Warner Bros. Records UK said “The album he’s currently recording is big, bold and heartfelt, and it feels important and culturally relevant.” Maybe the label wanted to build around the "bold" statement and Liam wanted a more interesting name? www.musicweek.com/labels/read/liam-gallagher-signs-to-warner-bros-records-for-solo-album-release/065777

I really hope that Bold isn't the new single, or a single in general. I'm not judging it based on the quality of the performance Liam did in that irish pub, but the actual song structure. There are some decent lyrics, but the verse-bridge-verse-bridge-structure is something that has been tested before in Beady Eye, and it doesn't work well. You need to have an actual chorus. I must admit Flick Of The Finger is enjoyable, but that's more in spite of the song structure rather than because of it. Generally speaking it makes for a bad/average song if you build up to something in a song that time after time doesn't come. I think a structure like that makes for a less engaging listening experience, and the song easily becomes monotonous and repetitive.
Edit: The Boy With The Blues is also an exception from this, as it is a really good song. But besides that I think most songs need a chorus.

Here's a quick summary of the next six months on this forum, for anyone worried they'll miss something: Noel vs Liam Calm down Various name calling You're welcome. You forgot 'Liam's voice debates' There's no debate to be had, we all know he'll sound fine on the record and shite live.

Think it's pretty safe to say that cover was either a place holder or an idea they had going back ages ago. Maybe they forgot it's even in the code of the website and it's been left in by mistake.
If it did turn out being that though I would be happy, looks good.

I actually really like the sounds of the pub song. Sure it has no Noel big chorus but idk I'm just a big fan of it. Edit: Just heard Rolo's version. unreal. Nice work. Looking forward to this song even more now. Thanks mate.

Liam could write the next "imagine" and people on here would say it's "not single worthy"... Noel writes a song about his love for Russell Brand and half of this forum would hail it as the greatest song since the wheel was invented. Paranoid.

I can feel a song coming on if the song is good people will say so, if its shit people will say say, beady eye got a fair amount for praise for flick when it came out, even from the likes of steve "I cant produce that" lillywhite, most of the rest of their songs just left a lot to be desired tbh.

Bold's got the potential to be Boy With The Blues-level good. Would be a great album track based on my expectations but I'm a bit disappointed if that turns out to be the first single, it's a little weak for that. I was hoping for Greedy Soul, the song the reporter (not Bastard) was describing. although maybe Bold is this album's Flick Of The Finger and something else is the first single

If I had a gun and Everybodys on the run soundchecks sounded promising and Noel butchered and overproduced the album versions what's your point Noel Fanboys

If you listen really closely at the end you can hear Liam say something like "we'll be right in when we get the strings on there" on the pub video.

Bold Always believe in your soul You've got the power to know You're indestructible Always believe in, because you are Bold! This would have been the best April Fools joke ever, Liam announces new single 'Bold' near the end of March then releases that, maybe without even rerecording all the lyrics, literally just record himself saying 'bold' once and stick it over every 'gold'.

Personally I'd say that picture on the "single" is taken from just before the BE era
