Hopefully Paul refers to Bonehead and Johnny to Johnny Marr. If they are both in Liams band I would be so happy.

Even Boneheads mates don't call him Paul!

Johnny Marr's no mere session guitarist. Never in a million years would that happen.

Let's not start getting sucked in after the whole Bastard thing. He could just be pissing about thinking he's funny.

This Johnny was one of the people rumoured (by the Sun?) to work with Liam, but as a songwriter. But seems he's working on a new Snowpatrol album. twitter.com/johnnymcdaidTBF, are there any more common names especially in Liam's age group than Paul or John? There were 2 Pauls in original Oasis plus brother Paul G. I'm sure Liam could make a whole band just with people called Paul with one or two Johns thrown in. Just came to me, even as a one man show, seeing as he's William John Paul Gallagher himself!

He could just be pissing about thinking he's funny. I couldn't agree more with these posts by matt and Rolo. I don't know who is this Joe guy, but I can't take his comment serious as I believe he mentioned these names to spreid a rumour - Paul (Weller) and Johnny (Marr). No way that Liam will work with both of them unless he'll suddenly join these gentlemen on stage at TCT next week.

good find themightyeye ! very interesting comment indeed! and the lad also said that Liam's album sounds amazing and yes, Johnny Marr is not a simple session guitarist, but then again we shouldn't forget that Liam is a huge star (and his friend) and not some random nobody, so it's surely not beyond Johnny to play some gigs with him just saying because sometimes I get the feeling Liam is weirdly underrated by some people on this board (remember that Robbie Williams thread where some people were kinda slagging Liam off and speaking highly of Robbie instead? I have nothing against Robbie but I just thought: "This is an Oasis forum?!" I see enough people elsewhere praising Liam as a superstar and legend and weirdly of all people his supposed fans on this forum call him a has-been?!) and that's not me saying that it's Johnny Marr the lad is talking about, I have no idea, but I would definitely love to see them together on stage! and yes, we don't know if this guy is in the know or not but interesting tidbit nonetheless.

Im leaning towards Real. This guys Instagram was completely unknown until Rolo found it. What are the chances he's some random fanboy liar...And why would he say "album sounds amazing". Either it's a real comment or this guy is more crazy than Bastard

But the credibility comes from McDaid's response to a Liam tweet some months back - words to the effect of 'Bring it on!' from McDaid when Liam announced his solo endeavour, along with other twitter suggestions he was working with Liam.

joe_deery made another reply to a question about it perhaps being Marr & Bonehead and wrote "Can't say, 31st."
