Jesus people jumping on my back for 'being negative' when all I did was put a suggestion forward. Opinions really aren't allowed on this forum anymore. I've been positive theoughout this thread and the other Liam one but one message about Chris Evans opinion and mods immediately making snipes. It's pathetic. N Nobody said that. What pathetic is, that some people only come here to post to criticize and to creative negative vibe. Look through my posts. You will see I've not said anything about Liam's album being bad. I made a SUGGESTION about Chris Evans the man who once publicly embarrassed Oasis with the Be Here Now album in 1997 on TFI Friday. It's what Evans does.

Go back to my post on October 27th 2014 when I posted a picture of the vinyl before it was released I did hear DTD when I said I had. I never mentioned the Stooges

I kept it to myself when I read Chris evans comment. But mighty eyes point is reasonable. It's not negative. I hope Chris didn't hear it yet because if he did I would say it's possible it means he didn't like it.

He played 3 tunes back to back (rock n roll star, cigs&alcohol, and up in the sky). At the end he said he played them for no other reason but to hear them. Then urged Oasis to get back together and tour definitely maybe. Which, considering he knows Liam has a new single due anytime, is a slightly strange thing to say maybe? Suggests he has heard it and thinks it's not very good I think thats a bit of stretch. I don't really know how you would arrive at that conclusion, Chris like many others would like to see the band back together. I don't really know how that means he has heard it and thinks its rubbish.

Whether it gets played is due to his producer, not him. Besides, they were sent a promo of the new Liam Gallagher single. It could be a walking dumpster fire and it would still get played. Obviously I hope it's not that, but the song quality will have little to do with whether it gets played. Liam's not a local indie act submitting to some local play time hoping to get aired. There will be very little, in terms of signs, of what anyone, including Chris, thinks of the song until it gets played.

I just find it odd how people derive so much from so little or in this case nothing.

I made a SUGGESTION about Chris Evans the man who once publicly embarrassed Oasis with the Be Here Now album in 1997 on TFI Friday. It's what Evans does. What did Evans do to embarrass Oasis in '97? I looked on YouTube but didn't find footage of that, only of the 1996 Noel interview.

"embarrass" is probably the wrong word as oasis probably couldnt of given two shiny shits what chris evans thought of their record when they are touring the world, necking back powder and scooping up millions of pounds in the process, I cant remember exactly but he either made some comment or had some kind of skit about be here now being a disappointment which was a mostly general consensus at the time and still is so he was hardly saying something out of line of a lot of other people. edit: it was this “When 'Be Here Now' came out we were all so disappointed with the album we opened up a TFI Friday with a defibrillator trying to resuscitate it and give the album some life – Noel saw the joke and has never spoken to me since.”

Most of their posts only aim to piss people off and end up in playpen the fact that you thought it was directed at you says more about you than me Cheers

I must say, this is being well kept under wraps. Patiently waiting for Liam to drop the bomb is difficult. It'll either be great, good, ok, or shit. Which is all subject to personal opinion/expectation anyway. Patience is a virtue

Didn't he use a defibrillator on a copy of the album or somethign like that. Yeah Danny Baker wrote the opening sketch with Chris trying to bring the album back to life which IIRC was the first episode of series three- Noel hasn't spoken to him since.

I'd like to see that out of curiosity; hopefully it'll surface one day on YouTube.

Tad childish of Noely Poly given that it didn't take him long to agree with Evans that the album isn't very good.

be here now is oasis' "aim for the bushes", they became so big so quick and got so much praise for their albums that Noel essentially thought he was invincible and face planted the pavement.

I hope it's better than Kasabian's new single. "Better" is an understatement when it comes to hopefully comparing Liam's to Kasabian's latest piece of dog poo.
