Yes, yes, I've just been very busy of late! Let's call this a mid-season break(we're havlf way through already), but I will get this done very soon. Besides, I'm still choosing which tracks to nominate! Pfff the winner for track 8 is obvious! we've said that about like 2 out of the last 3 tracks (or something like that) and the winner turned out to be something totally unexpected  |

So after a hiatus (apologies again folks), this project is back up and running. Didn't realise what a top top quality round this one is until I was putting all the nominations in the poll. I do hope I haven't missed any out. Again, apologies mimmihopps but I had to omit Crowded House as it wasn't track 8, but again, because we share a love of a few bands here, I had to nominate Pills I Swallow by The Twilight Sad - there's no way their 'magnum opus' (in my opinion) of Nobody Wants To Be Here was being left out of nominations (my eventual nomination along with Jungleland by Bruce Springsteen)! glider, I decided to omit Weeping Willow in place of History - that one was mentioned in previous rounds by a few folk as a potential Verve nomination so it's what swung the balance if that's okay? |

I'm blaming the heatwave down in London - can't cope as a pale Scotsman. But leaving out especially a song as big as Mr Tambourine Man? No excuses I'm afraid.
