mimmihopps, unfortunately I could not put Ashes To Ashes in the poll as it is track five and was in the previous round. I decided however to opt for @id1edreamer's suggestion for The National's Lemon World as a way of appeasement (I'm sure you'd be happy with this choice)! I sure am.

I don't like Blur that much but this is my favourite concert of all time. I finish my running every day with this version of Universal. So, get home safely and enjoy your summer!!!

I sure am. I saw the Burninger brothers at Paradiso when they were guests for "Mistaken For Stranger" 3 years ago. Matt's younger brother Tom is a walking chaos, but a very funny guy.

There were many great songs to choose from in this round, but in the end the decision was rather easy:
Led Zeppelin - When The Levee Breaks Bob Dylan - Mr. Tambourine Man
Doesn't get better than that, folks.

Nominations for track 8 already? Wow.
For track 8 I'm only nominating one track, namely the most beautiful popsong ever (well, in my opinon):
The Beach Boys-God Only Knows

My sole track 8 nomination is Cortez The Killer - Neil Young Great choice! Although I prefer this live version, of which I wouldn't change a single note.

Not surprised at all. I love The Kinks - I still maintain their the best 60s British band after The Beatles - but that now means my nomination for the last track won't be Waterloo Sunset (thanks a lot @id1edreamer! ). Pleased to see Viva La Vida in the top three - I will always fight that songs corner! No matter how ubiquitous the tune is, it is still one of the smartest, most finely crafted and unique pop songs of the last 30 years.
