There's a few clashes here with some bands nominated more than once. World71R and The Crimson Rambler , you've both nominated Led Zeppelin tunes - is there a preference you can agree on. We could have more than one Led Zeppelin track on the nominations, but that tends to spread the votes out for the one band over a few songs, so there's more of a risk of them sinking without a trace, if you get what I'm saying. Likewise with U2. glider and @id1edreamer - how do we solve a problem like The Fly and Bad?! That's a tough one. As for Radiohead, do we go for Just? I see @lynds21 has nominated it, as has The Escapist (though are you thinking about Idioteque?). RECKONER!!!  |

if you want to give it another day or two i will try and come up with a few more nominations for track 7, if we need them ...
here are a few more track 7's, off the top of my head:
the national - lemonworld
the killers - uncle jonny
the rolling stones - respectable
fleetwood mac - the chain
the notorious b.i.g. - one more chance
the sex pistols - anarchy in the u.k.
tom petty and the heartbreakers - listen to her heart
bruce springsteen - wrecking ball

All I'll say is that I don't think it should be Just. Idioteque might be my favourite ever song, but I won't disagree with any of the others being chosen.

mimmihopps, unfortunately I could not put Ashes To Ashes in the poll as it is track five and was in the previous round. I decided however to opt for @id1edreamer's suggestion for The National's Lemon World as a way of appeasement (I'm sure you'd be happy with this choice)! (P.S. I also had to take out my original nomination of Electronic as we've already got a Johnny Marr representation in this album - was going to put in a Bruce Springsteen track in place but he's already represented in this round as the songwriter of Patti Smith's Because The Night, which is, anyway, a better track than the one I had in mind!).

Good choices for this one....can't see an obvious winner, probably won't be 'Reckoner', which took about 50 years to decide.....
