Quoting oasisserbia : I think that if I compose Mucky Fingers I wouldn't even be bother to recorded as b-side, I would say, that was shit, let's move on and forget about song. I would be embarrassed of song like that and let's not talk about how embarrassing is for someone like Noel. If you know few chords on guitar and if you know just a little about songwriting, then you know how shit songs like Mucky Fingers are and you know that almost anybody can write something like that. I vote for Force of Nature. Quite bizarre that Noel played Mucky Fingers with High Flying Birds.

They're both shit, but I hate Force Of Nature slightly less than I do Mucky Fingers.

I quite like both, especially live. I liked Zak's drumming (rare I know) on the outro of Mucky Fingers live.

Force of Nature might be the worst "studio" recording of any Oasis track. It is truly appalling.

Noel wanted Mucky Fingers to be a single and played it throughout his first solo tour, so he clearly likes it. ✌️

Both sub-average tunes, but I like Mucky Fingers more.

I really enjoy Mucky Fingers. It has a brilliant energy to it I think. Noel actually seemed enthused for the first time in a long time on an Oasis record.
Force Of Nature has no real energy whatsoever, like so much of Heathen Chemistry.

Mucky Fingers is a good tune, lyrically one of Noels better tunes but it would have sounded even better if Owen Morris had produced it and Liam sang it.
Force of Nature is one of the most pathetic songs I've ever heard and beyond redemption, the type of song that fat leather jacketed men who look like Jeremy Clarkson listen to. Not to mention that Noel sounds like a fog horn.

Two very solid additions to the Oasis catalogue whose hatred came as a complete surprise to me when I signed up to this forum. I really like the pair of them but Force of Nature probably just edges it for me. Mucky Fingers is just too much of a rip-off.
Oh, and that OasisSerbia quote just made my brain cry. For shame sir. For shame.

There is no shame in saying that you don't know anything about songwriting.

Force of nature. I don't mind it. Used to like it more, can see it now for what it is.

If Force Of Nature was better produced and sung then it has the potential to be great.
Mucky Fingers is just shit and there's nothing beyond that.

There is no shame in saying that you don't know anything about songwriting. What the fuck are you implying? Do you know something that noone else does? People who like the song think it's good songwriting, those who don't, well they don't think so. Are you delusional or just stuck up in your own ass?

I acknowledge that Force of Nature is a shit song, but I like the way it bounces along. Its got a cool glam-rock stomp to it. Mucky Fingers is just one long drone and bores me to death

Both Great tunes in my opinion.
Mucky Fingers just wins it. Due to the Carpel Tunnel inducing piano riff
