"It's as good as confirmed". No it fucking isn't. Emotionally, maybe not, but factually... yeah it is. Yes. Basically that. 11 songs have very recently been added, it's as good as confirmed that they will make up Liam's debut solo album. - All I Need - All My People - Anything's Possible - Bold - Eh La - Greedy Soul - Never Wanna Be Like You - No One Loves Like You Do - Universal Gleam - When I'm In Need - You Better Run Those titles are tempering my excitement somewhat I have to say Haha, yeah. BOOOO! Bring back Grenades of Joy and The Crouching Lad.

I guess All I Need or Never Wanna Be Like You is the opening track and You Better Run the final track.
I doubt we will get (vinyl singles with) b-sides.

Eh La sounds absolute cringeworthy. Thought he'd have learned from the woeful Iz Rite.

If the album is genuinely just 11 songs hes bashed out/left overs from Beady Eye and latter day Oasis then im going to wonder what the fuck these people around him are actually advising him.
This should only be done if he has carefully crafted it with good solid ideas around him. It shouldnt be something that was just decided 8 months ago and then done on a budget.
I'd be the first to say we can't judge anything on names but i get the comments above saying these song titles arent exactly anything to get excited about. Be funny as fuck if Universal Gleam is Flick Of The Finger with a chorus though.

These songs are all new and have been written since the Beady Eye split, no left overs, that's what I got from his Q interview anyway.
How can anyone seriously start getting worried just by seeing the song titles for fuck sake? We don't have the slightest clue what they are going to sound like.

Maybe he cares. Maybe he wanted to go to work and write his own record.

Liam has shown he is more than capable of writing some great songs, he doesn't need someone writing a full album for him. It definitely wouldn't hurt to have a few people round him offering some input I agree but I want to hear Liam's ideas, lyrics and melodies (something he is very good at by the way), not someone I don't know or care for.

I agree that he is able to write very/quite good melodies (Songbird, Evil Eye, Born On A Different Cloud) but he can also totally mess up (Wigwam, Shine A Light, For Anyone). I also fear his rocking tunes, I don't think I liked a single one he has done so far. He is better at ballads or weird types (Soul Love, Soldier On). But I'm confident for the new album. He had more time in his hands than with Beady Eye, so if there tunes as good as Songbird or Evil Eye, I'd happily take it. Plus, will be great to hear his voice again.

Bold sounded amazing in that pub, I reckon that will be a great song. And in my opinion, most songs are made because of his voice, I just want to hear his voice again. The songs will naturally be good... and yeah he's written some classics I'm not worried at all. I think a lot of people are really worried it's going to suck.... BUT let's be honest warner brothers, one of the biggest agency's on the planet wouldn't let him release shit music, they would have to approve it all prior to its release. They have a reputation to uphold as well

What if it's all an elaborate ruse and the real album is a hip-hop one featuring Snoop Dogg and Mac Miller?

His verse melodies are often quite decent but I wouldn't say he's gone on to complete many great songs from there. Only Songbird would fit on an Oasis best of IMO. It would be an incredible turnaround if he suddenly finds the back to write great bridges and choruses on his own, if he's been credited as sole writer on these songs.

Bit silly to write him off based on uncomfirmed songtitles.

Went to see The Roses at Sonic Mania 4 years ago. Midnight gig, they played from 01:30 to around 3:00. Absolute mental, but even in the midnight it was so hot inside.

The link above jordan71421 posted (from Kasabian FB - poster for Sonic Mania with Kasabian (headliner) and Liam) has taken down by FB, promotor or management. Most likely by promotor for Summer Sonic/Sonic Mania as they announce the official line up for this year's Summer Sonic/Sonic Mania today.

If Universal Gleam is a cover of Flick Of The Finger, I wonder if All My People is a cover of D'You Know What I Mean...
Maybe it's a covers album. Are any of the other titles Lennon or Beatles lyrics?
