Here's 1993. Very good year, I must say, even if not on par with the following year.

Houdini - Melvins, Zooropa - U2, Beaster [EP] - Sugar are all cool too.

Cool to see The Verve having more votes at the moment than In Utero or Zooropa. Let stay that way, thanks !

Songs of Faith and Devotion (Depeche Mode) - Disintegrating beauty, a true classic.
A Storm in Heaven - The title describes the actual music very well. Nick McCabe's finest work.
Very (Pet Shop Boys) - Thist ogether with 1990's Behaviour is like a small universe in itself, combining gorgeous pop melodies with both heartbreaking and uplifting lyrics.

A Storm in Heaven, Siamese Dream, and Wildwood. I quite like Zooropa too and Midnight Maurauders is a terrific jazzy hip hop album.

In Utero might well be the most overrated album in history. Just an opinion of course.

lubeck , when are ya gonna create the 1994 poll? Tonight or tomorrow morning I'd say don't include Oasis as it's just a bit boring when you know something's going to win - remember when this forum voted Oasis as the second best band OF THE 2000'S? It'll make every poll a landslide when you're talking about their 90's material. I don't know, just a suggestion, but I think we can take it as read that L4E's favourite album of 1994 is Definitely Maybe, d'you know what I mean?

I was thinking that aswell, but since everyone can vote for 3 albums, the gap will not be that big. I'm doubting a bit but I think I'm gonna do without DM to have more suspense.
