So realistically who would you want in the band to play the reunion shows.
Liam and Noel Obviously, but listening to Boneheads interview on the Red Carpet before Supersonic, he believes it should be the original line up or nothing.
Now it's getting clearer and clearer that we will never see Guigsy and even Whitey again and Tony wouldn't be able to play the songs from WTSMG apparently (thats if the reunion was purely 94-96 tunes)so that leaves Bonehead as the only founding member that's not a Gallagher that could potentially participate.
With regards to Gem and Andy, I'd rather Bonehead take Gems place as any reunion would be much cooler with Bonehead back on stage and I'm still unclear whether the issues and animosity between Noel and Andy are over and whether Andy would actually want to even do it.
So then, who else would you have in the band. I'd create a bit of a hybrid of old and new and a bit of a surprise thrown in.
For me........
Oasis on tour playing the first and second record only.

I don't think that there are any issues between Andy and Liam / Noel. But I don't think Andy would want it.
Why are there so many threads about an reunion at the moment?

Tony will never play with Noel, and Alan never with Oasis. I don't know about Zak, but Chris is fine.

If I am being realistic I wouldn't be surprised by a Liam Gallagher/Noel Gallagher only reunion with hired hands for the band, perhaps with guest spots for original members at key dates such as Manchester. This would earn the brothers a higher gross on any farewell style tour and could easily work given to casual fans and the wider public Oasis were essentially two brothers.

I can't see "The Chief" giving away 12.5% or whatever the final era cut was to Andy, Gem or anyone else of a final cash in when there's cheaper options available, although Chris Sharrock if he continues on as a salaried drummer might be plausible. Sharrock made Alan White look distinctly average. I think apart maybe from Alan's brother Steve he was perhaps the best drummer to play with Oasis.
I like Oasis's performances with the classic line up don't get me wrong but Andy and Gem added a lot to their live performances. DYKWIM's best performance by far for example is from Oasis mk II.

Of course a reunion at this point is highly unlikely. However, if it were to happen, what do you suppose the lineup would be? Obviously, Liam, Noel and probably Gem. I doubt Andy would be a part of it....Maybe Bonehead?....Sharrock?

is bonehead still friendly with Noel? seems to interact with Liam quite a lot but dont ever hear much between Noel, Im assuming not really.
