Fucking Liam singing fucking Sad Song. Wow! Was not expecting that! Shame there's no news on an OST.

The audio from King Tuts sounded better than the existing audio than we've heard. I wonder if it was sourced from the Mark Coyle tape. In the Q&A I think they said they found the Japanese Student who filmed it and got it off them.

The film, like the band, is brilliant. Very funny.

Class film. Shows how good they were and why, ultimately, it'll never be repeated again.
Well done to all involved.
Don't think anybody comes out 'badly', though Liam is a bloody funny fucker throughout.

Oh, as well - Liam's version of Sad Song ----- Amazing.
Liam's vocal take of Champagne Supernova ---- Amazing (as is all the Rockfield footage).
The bit where they cut to just Liam's vocals on Rock N Roll Star was incredible.

What kind of questions were asked during the q and a? Bad ones. It got awkward once the actual Q and A started. Before that when it was just Liam, Mat and Bonehead chatting was good.

Yeah the Live Forever acoustic was from the 2000's definitely. Anyone know the gig where Liam complained about his sore throat? Was that Barrowlands in December 94? The excuse Noel made about having to sing more songs sounded like total bullshit too. Enjoyed seeing Liam looking lonely with a tambourine during Wonderwall in Aspen! VERY interesting that The Real People aren't mentioned AT ALL. Whether that was due to time constraints, or legal wranglings, we don't know. Yeah, surprised to hear such good audio of that Glasgow gig where Liam walked off. Would love to hear Noel's set from that night. I noticed the total lack of the Real People as well. I was also slightly disappointed they didn't expand more on Noel's early songwriting - they played But What If, but should have game it a bit more context.

What kind of questions were asked during the q and a? Terrible ones. It was really awkward tbh. "Liam, name my baby!" He was asked for a solo album release date though and said there isn't one yet.

thought it was put together really well, stand outs for me was the studio footage of Liam singing Champagne Supernova and other rare studio clips and Liam singing sad song , were did they dig that one out from !
Great doc, made up to see it first night.

What they focused on IMO was the bits that would ring to most people and I think that's fine. We got to see and hear all of these things we'd read about etc - I loved it all. Would be nice to see more but, as Noel once said, plenty of people never got to see the Beatles live. It is what it is.

Something which was weird was the phone call audio of Marcus Russell and Alan McGee discussing bringing Owen Morris in. Who was recording their own phone calls, and why? And they've kept it after all this time?

Q&A after, the directors cut was 7-8 hours long, that would be something else.

Even though I woke up this morning with a stinking cold I still decided to go tonight. Fucking brilliant piece of work.
Loved seeing that bad and hearing those songs so fucking loudly in a cinema.
Sad Song was a surprise. Theres clearly alot of stuff we haven't heard from them.
I've always enjoyed seeing and hearing from Phil Smith and Coyley. They really were part of Oasis too.
Noel came off badly with the Tony stuff, basically admitting that whatever Tony says Noel said, is probably true.
Liam is one funny fella.
The crystal meth story was a bit mad.
Was half expecting to hear Liam singing DLBIA during the MG sessions.
Ace film. 5/5

That version of Cigarettes and Alcohol was God awful. Forgot about that.
What actually happened in the q and a? The cinema I was at had a technical issue and couldn't show it. We all got refunds but it was a bit shit.

That version of Sad Song wasn't very good but it was definitely a little something for the hardcore fans. Maybe it'll sneak its way onto the DVD in full somewhere.
